Hopefully the new revamped Apple TV that is rumored can spark some new competition between Apple and Google, as if they didn't have enough already. Both Apple TV and especially Google TV sound incredible.

Regarding the other rumors, nobody cares about Safari, free MobileMe would be nice, and a 10.7 OS X update seems a little too soon.

Should be interesting.

I wonder if the new iPhone will have anything we don't already know.

rumor is, Apple will announce the Magic Trackpad:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/07/a...kpad-revealed/

size mockup:

Rumors state it does everything the current Mac trackpads do, plus handwriting recognition (!), which I don't quite buy it, I've played around with Ink before on my drawing tablet, and found it to be really poor, in comparison to MS' handwriting tech.

My guess, if true, $69.99.

And Safari 5 is supposed to be announced too.

New iPhone 24% thinner than the 3GS, making it the thinnest smartphone on the market.

Someone's getting canned for ****ing up the wireless at WWDC.

10:43AM Someone is going down for this network glitch.

10:43AM "I'm afraid we have a problem and I'm not going to be able to show you much today... let's just go take a look at some photos here... take a look at that." Wow, this is striking -- huge difference in quality.

10:41AM "You know you could help me out, if you're on WiFi if you could just get off... well we're having a little problem here." Oh boy, the iPhone 4 is NOT loading.

10:41AM "So now I'm going to go to some websites. I'm going to go to the NYT... let's compare." Loading slowly... "Our networks in here are always unpredictable..."

The new iPhone has some ****ing insane hardware, I am impressed, didn't expect so much, but they've taken it to a new level now imo. 720p at 30fps and iMovie too just announced! Did not expect that.

Shoots HD video at 720P, 30FPS. Apple has developed an iMovie app for the iPhone where you can edit all your video right on the phone.

One of my biggest wishes remains a full AVCTP bluetooth profile. If anyone hears anything on this, please post.

"The camera records geolocation information into the video, gets picked up automatically by iMovie and put into the screen (if you want it)"

That's pretty cool.

This is the most impressive upgrade to the iPhone since the App Store was released.

As for blogs...Engadget and MacRumors Live is where it's at for me, great coverage.

iMovie looks pretty sweet. I'm sure it's something you'd prefer to do on a full computer, but if you were just to whip something up quick it's a cool ap to have.

3-axis gyro looks pretty neat, to go along with the accelerometer.

Because with my current phone, the fact it can't edit videos just bothers me so much.
