Gotta say that I'm really beginning to like Nieminen even though I hate him...

San Jose better watch out. Calgary went back home and they stopped getting all those bounces that had gotten them this far. They're getting them again. This is the same stuff that frustrated the hell out of Detroit and it's working again.

I wonder if the Nieninen bashers will notice that he was being hooked up around the helmet on that assist. He just didn't stop playing.

Brad Stuart has absolutely no feel for the PP. He was fed a perfect pass from Korky to one time and he passed it up. "feel " for the game ahould have alerted Stuart that support would be needed as both Sharks were under pressure on the wall. Stuart stayed in the spread offense and Korky fed a bad pass for the breakaway. The second goal was worse but it all feeds off the horrible lack of a PP QB. I will continue to put the call out to dress Ehrhoff, he would shoot that one timer that was on a tee. Go with 3 centers and 4 sets of wingers. There is not a Shark D man worhty of anything more than the second unit. The PP should certainly run through Korky on the half boards, he cannot feather soft passes into the middle. This team is too good for this foolishness.

Excellent PK work from Mclaren. Sticks in the lane as well as sacrificing his body.A good play from Stuart too.

I also notice that he must have something on the referees since he can spear players and run goalies at will and never gets penalized.

WEll, unless SJ has another 4 goal 2nd, games already over.

SJ F***in pisses me off with this, lazy passing and fancy crap at the blueline.

THey didn't do it in CALgary, yet think it will work at home.

I've given up trying to figure this series out. I surrender. Waving the white flag.

Terrible first period by the Sharks! Still loads of time left but they need to score the next goal.

Calgary is playing smart and well tonight. Looks like it will be really hard to get 3 for the Sharks

HOLYCRAP MArleau looks like a snail. He has not won one loose puck battle in either zone....

Ekman....still looking sorry....and our Defense didn't learn anything from games 3/4.

It's like they had a complete freakin mindwipe on the "charter" flight back.

well, on that centering pass from Damphousse Marleau was the closest player besides the goaltender...and Nillson cam out of nowhere and still beat Marleau to it.

The team as a whole looks really poor tonight.

Did that just happen? Did he really just quit like that? That folks will sting for a while. They will need amnesia to set in soon after this one ends. Onto game 6.

The ironic part is that I think Nabby has played as good, if not better, than Kipper tonight.
