Read the article.

He's being brought on to produce. Folks are getting your rage off a little prematurely here.

I liked the Rock, it was excellent.

But Transformers 1 was a gigantic pile of trash. There was nothing redeeming about the whole movie. I even hated the action sequences because they gave the feel it was all one big messy blur. You couldn't even see the action properly.

The one thing that Michael Bay does extremely well is use the cheapest method possible to make a movie that would normally cost more. And he can do so in record time. That's his only quality. And it generally produces acceptable results for most everyone but I can't stand it personally.

The rock was better because the story was pretty good, the action was good and there wasn't any over the top cheap CGI like there was in transformers 1. And the story for T1 was ... dreadful. It gives me shivers just to think about it. I understand that it was an action movie and you were supposed to turn your brain off, and I can do that for quite a few films but that one was just too ****ing over the top ********.

1 good, count it 1, good, movie. The Rock. And that was because of Sean Connery and Ed Harris in the prime of Hollywood big budget action movies.

Producers often have more power than directors.

Michael Bay will likely be too busy to micromanage TMNT. Generally he has had little input in his films when he isn't directing them. He's simply a big name to attach to the project.

critics liked it, audiences loved it, but apparently you think it was pretty much the worst film ever.

Because I am a huge TMNT fan, I hope this movie can bring it back to how the first one was filmed.

After finding this photo -

it makes me wonder if they can return to their roots and make us forget the third movie was ever made.

He's not the only one. Transformers was AWFUL. Who needs a good story when you have cgi, explosions, Megan Fox, and a Camaro.

Its talking robots though, the majority of families seeing it wouldnt know the history of the franchise anyways.

G.I. Joe on the other hand...

I never want to hear Michael Bay and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the same sentence. He doesn't deserve that honor.

I personally like Bloodrayne. Thought it was hilarious.

But, Boll's latest efforts have been a lot etter received. Tunnel Rats, Postal, and Rampage.

The animated reboot was promising. Too bad they won't go on from there.

How do you fit explosions in the sewer?
