Of course you would, the other two are already dead

I saw a story online earlier today and when I read your post, I couldn't help but laugh. Here is the link to that story. I don't actually want to type a summary of it for fear of becoming far more stupid than I currently am.

Now I'm not normally on the 'damn you Michael Bay, damn you to hellllllll' wagon and I don't care much for TMNT, so I'm not too fussed about how this film turns out. But after reading that story linked above, I can't help but get the feeling that anyone wondering how Bay could screw this film up may have just got their answer.

Jaysfanatic - you may have thought everyone knew they were mutated by ooze (hell, even I knew that and like I said, I'm not too bothered about TMNT) but it seems at least one person now knows better.

Quick question for all the fans of TMNT: with this new snippet of information, regardless of what it does for the storyline, what should the title of the film now be changed to?

Loved what he did with Transformers, 2nd was a bit iffy at times, but still a great film. So can't wait.

I actually like the first and the third transformers, but the second one is complete trash.... A great film?... I want whatever drugs you happen to be on. Lol

Oh and the turtles aren't aliens lol. What would make you change them to aliens... Bay is a wierd one.

As long as it's not in 3D it should be alright.

Awards:
The first bayformers movie was solid. Revenge of the Fallen sucked, and Dark of the Moon was Ok, but still not as good as the first.

This is just stupid though what he's doing to TMNT. I can only hope that this is the same kind of disinformation campaign he ran with TF, where a giant chunk of the "news" about the movie and claims that get made beforehand is just smoke and mirrors BS to distract people from whatever's really happening.

TANT

I wouldn't be surprised to see it called just Turtles or Ninja Turtles

Well, this is one film I won't be watching. Didn't see Transformers either. Not interested

Come to think of it I haven't see any of his films, even The Island.

What? Where are you getting that he's a terrible director?

- The Island
- The Rock
- Bad Boys II
- Armageddon
- Pearl Harbor
- Bad Boys

Seriously? There are some big name movies in that list, that a lot of people like.

I can now see Bay going insane with making an hour and forty minutes of 3D special effects and twenty minutes of story. Thanks for that.

Michael Bay's involvement means I'll never willingly watch it.

Just so that everyone can hear it straight from the horses mouth.

The only thing that could make this worse is if (more likely when) he announces that Shredder will be a giant alien robot that transforms into a salad shooter.

So they only got Michael Bay to do it because this is another movie which will propagate hollywood's alien agenda with them changing the origin of the turtles (there's been a huge # of them in the past 4-5 yrs). Spielberg and Bay only seem to be doing alien movies...not a coincidence imo, it can be considered to be a conspiracy theory but there are lots of facts behind psyops.

Yeah, but you know what this means? April O'Neil is probably going to be mind blowingly hot

Because it's Michael Bay and most of the time the women in his movies are goddesses

I am okay with this

I thought that animated TMNT reboot was pretty good. Raphael beating Leo was badass.

If it can be filmed like Tintin that would be awesome. I'll still watch it though. Oh well.

Indeed how the hell can you keep the mutant in the title if they are suddenly aliens? I don't hate Bay but don't agree with some of his decisions and this is definitively one of them.

To each their own, but out of all those you just listed the only three that are somewhat good to watch are Rock and both Bad Boys movies....and that is because of the actors he had in them. Armageddon was a complete hackjob of a movie considering Deep Impact came out just before it IIRC. and Pearl Harbor is quite possibly the worst film he has ever directed. He took an intimate moment in American/World History and turned it into a love plot. That plot took so much away from the actual Pearl Harbor moment. If you don't believe me, watch Tora Tora Tora and tell me which one is a better depiction of the event.

Here is the problem with Michael Bay:

These movies are ones I have to go "Oh wow, that's right, Bay did direct them" because of all the hate he gets and how awesome those movies were. Pearl Harbour is decent too, in my opinion.

Wait...so the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles are aliens. The MUTANT TURTLES are aliens.

Turtles are not an alien race. Turtles are a species of animal. From Earth.
