Who all do you think will be going to the World Cup for Nashville?

I think Adam Hall for USA since he was at the Worlds recently and did well. He's a good grinder. That was the role he just played for Team USA.

You know that Vokoun will be one of the Czech goalies. Possible Zidlicky.

Vladdy and Jan Lasak are already on Team Slovakia.

AJ has already been named to Sweden.

I'm not sure about Zidlicky. I don't think he gets along with his home country.

It's not exactly a reliable source, but it certainly would help explain why someone who is the best offensive Czech defenseman going right now hasn't made their squad in a while. I want to say it had something to do with how he left Kladno of the Czech league and moved to the Finnish league. I think he might have ruffled some feathers. I don't recall what the exact reason was, but it would explain a lot. Certainly the Czech Republic could use a player of his calibre on the blueline, but they've haven't given him a look for a while. It's even odder considering he's been a dominant player on the blueline internationally since 2000-2001.

I hadn't heard that. I'll have to do some more checking. As Arte Johnson would say in LAUGH IN .... veeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrry in-ter-esting!

I know that Erat turned down this last tournament because he was tired. I believe if they ask him this time, he'll accept.

yuop, Lasak was chosen to play for Slovakia.

I'd assume Timonen will be playing as well.
