No offensive creativity for the first 30 minutes, porous defense the entire half. This team is flushing a golden opportunity to get into the second round right down the toilet.

Now we have to root for Algeria to shock England.

I shut the game off after the 2nd goal. I could tell from live action that the goal was offsides, but do correct me if I'm wrong, I was too enraged to watch the replay.

Just when the US starts to turn it up after looking like dick for the first 35 minutes, the referees decide to go on a "Screw the Yankees" campaign starting with Findley's phantom handball. Sickening to watch on so many levels right now. I don't think I'm going to watch the second half. I believe in my country, but I don't expect them to tie it, no less win with this ******** going on.

Onyewu left him on. I thought he was off on first look but it's just that he was so open that it just looked that way. He was definitely not offsides, though. Terrible, terrible defense. That handball in the box call was total BS, though. I don't know how you make that call and miss. Unforgivable.

They need to bring in someone up top. Buddle or Gomez.

My initial reaction was that it was an offside. It wasn't though .. line ball, Slovenian player did well to stay onside.

These guys are hacks man...they sense the US getting close. I guess they figure if they injure the Americans they can't tie the game

So would we prefer a draw between England and Algeria, or would we rather and Algerian victory, and then just force ourselves to beat them for entry to the second round?

US dominate in the second half. That ref is a ****ing joke, he shouldn't be let within a mile of a pitch. Should of gotten 3 but, considering the first half, I'm definitely going to take the draw and the point. Now we just have to come out firing like this against an even-less talented Algeria.

What was that ref thinking? Could we get one call? I mean even the announcers were extremely hard on him. Absolutely awful refereeing there.

3rd goal should have stood. The only infractions were the 4/5 Slovenian's pulling the shirts of the Americans - perfect result for us heading into tonight, sorry guys.
