I'm assuming that he hasn't talked to her much because he feels like he has no shot based on looks. Therefore, he probably doesn't know her all that well to know if he ACTUALLY likes her, not based on just looks.

That's not the way I look at it. There's no reason to see her as inferior. First of all, she's not. And second, that initial lack of respect never bodes well for a serious relationship, even if she is attracted to a guy who acts like that.

i never said to disrespect her. never disrespect a woman. just don't put them on a pedestal. they're the same as you.
most people like someone else that takes charge of the situation. the majority of people in the world are followers. a few are leaders. gorgeous girls have tons of guys "following" them, doing w/e they say, etc. if you make the decisions, you're setting yourself apart from that crowd.
and putting it in your mind that she's not as cool as you is more to give you confidence and to make you feel like you're cool. everybody likes someone that thinks they're cool, nobody wants to hang out with someone that thinks they're not worthy of hanging out with you.
