I wasn't sure if his post was serious, considering i had made the same post (but sarcastically) right before it.

I don't know, Kostitsyn has 40 goal potential don't you think Anahiem has to add?

I would love a trade of Hamrlik, A.Kost for Lupul and Wisniewski, Wisnieski would be perfect fit to play with Markov, he is listed at 6'0 feet but he plays a big game, and Lupul replaces A.Kost on a line with Cammy and Pleck

Ryan is a good player, Markov is a better player and they will make the same salary.

lol at some of these ahn proposals... but obviously that is the place to target unloading spacek or hamrlik (i personally see no sense in trading markov).

3 moves to remodel the team:

To Ahn:
A.Kost
Spacek
Carle

To Mtl:
Wisniewski
L. Macmillan

then follow it up with this:

To Ott:
Gomez
Weber or M.Pacioretty
1st 2010

To Mtl:
Spezza
Cheechoo

and finally:

to Edm:
S.Kost
Maxwell

to Mtl:
Pouliot
Peckham

leaving us with:

Cammalleri- Spezza- Cheechoo/M.Pouliot
Pouliot- Plekanec- Gionta
Eller- Lapierre- M.Pouliot/Pyatt
Moen- White- Pyatt/M.Pouliot
Darche
(maxpac?, desharnais, palushaj, trotter)

Markov- Subban
Hamrlik- Wisniewsky
Gill- Gorges
O'byrne
(weber?, carle, peckham)

Trade i would do right away

To montreal

Jack Johnson, Wayne Simmonds Brad Richardson 3rd pick

To Los Angeles

Andrei Markov,Andrei Kostitsyn, Sergei Kostitsyn( get rid of him as well)

The key player is Wayne Simmonds, the guy has got great hands and plays really physical. He can easily put on 25-30 goals with gomez and gionta.

A Gomez-Gionta-Simmonds line would just be terrific.
Plus Richardson is a good young player who can put up 40 points on a third line with Eller.

When I googled the exact phrase of the subject title of this email, only one site showed up: www.danslescoulisses.com/

Apparently, they deleted it from their site because I don't find the content ... still shows-up on google though.
What? Habs are shopping Plekanec's rights and Markov?... oh wait... Plekanec just signed...

Another beauty by DLC. Way to go buddy! Keep'em comin'!

I don't know how much he would cost but Malhotra wouldn't be a bad option to sign for our bottom six.

I don't know, would you bite if someone offered you an investment of 35 dollars that could soon disappear for a 50 dollar investment with the potential of still growing ?

Hamrlik for Lupul could be a deal there ?

Would the LA Kings be interested in moving Rob Scuderi?

Montreal - Chicago (no Versteeg/Sharp/Ladd)

Okay.

Your the Habs, you have a ownership with deep pockets and a GM who wants to make a splash at the draft.

Would you trade Andrei Kostitsyn and Max Pacioretty or Benoit Pouliot and rights to Yemelin for Huet and both of the Hawks first rounders 24th and 30th overall?

Such a deal allows the Hawks to keep Sharp for sure, maybe even Versteeg.

The Habs take a contract that Hawks desperately want to get rid of, plus it allows PG to either try to trade up to the top 3 by packaging two of those picks, if not all 3 to get the 2nd overall and a player.

Or the Habs have the opportunity to stock pile 3 picks of their own, and maybe make mild to minor deals to move up like swapping a pick and player/prospect to move up.

Habs could either bury the Huet contract, or possible allow him to tandem with Price once again. A healthy competition and one where Huet knows he is now the back up.

Hawks are not desperate to rebuild, they have a solid youthful team and a good prospect pool too.

Would you do it, would offer something different?

Just some fun leading up to tomorrow.

(no offence)Why the Hawks just dont send Huet in the Minor and keep both of their 1st round pick? They get rid of Huet salary without giving asset?

To be honest the only reason would be not to look bad...I mean signing a guy and then shipping him to the minors before his deal is up never looks good to future free agents. Is that a good enough reason? Probably not.

What I find funny is that the OP thinks that three late 3rd rounders is enough to get the second overall pick.

Because that is $5,625,000 in the minors for two years, and no they won't buy Huet out next year either as they will still need as much cap space as available. Making Huet a burden for a team to take on, that is why they have to dress it up.

What would be the advantage of doing this other than getting draft picks and low end picks I might add.

Habs need players that can play right now.

A 5 million Back up goalie? Minor ok but very unlikely. Sure the 2 first round picks looks good but that contrac kills us unless you send him to the minor but really why bother trading for him.
