Just like every other team in every other sport.

It is more uncommon for a team to list a player's actual height, than it is for them to list an exaggerated height.

Conz could go undrafted and then sign by a NHL team too. which is something to look for. something happened to JP Anderson. Anyone know what's the word on Lars Volden? he is someone i will be watching tonight in the Norway game.

Good God no. Unless "play very similar to Thomas" means "looks about the same size". Thomas is a very unorthodox goalie, heavily reliant on athleticism and an uncanny ability to track the puck at the expense of solid technique and positioning. Conz is exactly the opposite - technique and positioning are good but he's very deficient in athleticism and seems to lose track of the play at times. It seems like you don't understand what you're watching.

No, he plays the same style has Thomas plays. Not saying he looks as good as Thomas. Yes I agree with you, he looks lost at times but all I meant to say was he has the same style as Thomas.

Er, those are desperation saves, but no he's a solid goalie that tries positionally sound.

In my opinion, i saw a couple of plays where he did something Thomas would do. That's all, that's just my opinion. You don't agree then alright.

Opinions can be wrong, you know. Look, I've laid out in detail why they aren't similar. If you don't want to believe me, there's no point in continuing to try to convince you. Believe what you want.

Was not saying my opinion was right. But that's what these threads are for, to discuss. I agree with everything you've said so far but that's what I saw, but that's just me. Let's move on

I'd take a chance on him in the later rounds, if he's available. I know he's small and whatnot but he's a gamer. He's worth a shot, imo.

Conz is a very good junior goalie, I've really not understood why he has been overlooked at the draft. Roy was a 5th round pick...
Now I have to say that I don't know Roy as I don't follow much CHL, while I do know Conz well, but from what I seen at the WJC, well, those two goalies didn't seem to me at the same level.

I never saw much of Grant Fuhr, but maybe Conz could be comparable. As a small goalie who excels at playing with a weak defense in front of him?

It seems like he had another real strong tournament... id be surprised if no one took a chance on him.

Mike Murphy was a similar size, much more athletic and had better stats at the same age and no one took him seriously either.

How did he not get drafted last year?

Reminds me a lot of Curtis Joseph.

Curtis Joseph wouldn't get drafted in this day and age.

Conz was impressive today.
