I already know of one friend who is gonna go. Probably get some more too.
How accessible are the players outside of the autograph session? It'd be cool to kind of just talk to them. How many people usually end up coming?

Speaking of Carter and Sea Isle, I saw him down there. It was pretty cool. He has a pretty nice house down there. Most of them still go over to Avalon to the one bar (can't remember the name!!!!) but they are on the beach and stuff in Sea Isle.

So I guess that Carter and Lappy are this years vets at the trial. Wasn't it Coburn last year who basically got lost on the kayak portion?

Where was Lappy? The only Flyer I saw was Carter.

I just read it on the Flyers twitter account:
Flyers Trial on the Isle in Stone Harbor, NJ is underway.
Along with the prospects, Jeff Carter and Ian Laperriere are also here.

NHLFlyers
The winning group at the Trial on the Isle was Jeff Carter (bike), Mike Testwuide (kayak) and Mike Banwell (run). Time was 48:01.

Now for the two most important questions:
1) Who hit on Amy Fadool?
2) Who walked the beach run?

Hopefully he doesn't adopt the off season workout routine of his brother

The dude is the complete opposite of his brother. Dont base him off of his lazy ass brother. You can tell Wellwood himself hates the comparisons

Here are some pictures of me and a few people there at the Trial. Also Jeff Carter is sort of really mean.
Carter not being happy that I talked to him
Coatesy.
Not really important, just me and the Prince. Wasn't supposed to touch it, did it anyway after.
Bobrovsky did not understand photos, all he said was "I..you...picture?" until I showed him the camera.
You all know who this cat is.
Lappy, a very nice guy of course.
Lastly Backlund, who was on some serious crutches.
I have too many pictures, every was kind though except Carter.

I definitely want to get out to this next year. And Backlund better be resting, I hope they didn't have him running on the beach...
But yeah, if Backlund has some serious crutches, Emery I am sure has a pretty serious bed, I hope he doesn't lost hi mobility from his hip surgery.

He's probably mad he hasn't figured out how to shoot threw a goalie's glove yet.

I said "Thanks for your time Jeff, sorry to bother" and he looked at me and walked away without saying anything. It was really awkward.

I've always had the impression that Carter isn't very "fan-friendly". Maybe it's just me though.
