That message should be sent directly to the Phantoms office, I just copied the email onto here.

My anniversary is in December, but I am not aware of a game being played on that day yet.

That's going easy. What about the ones who have to go all the way out to Abbotsford from places like Grand Rapids and Cleveland.

They fly.

Gonna be a lot of two-game runs to Charlotte, and I could see a few 4-game in 5 night Norfolk- Charlotte sets with a Tuesday / Wednesday in one city followedby a Saturday / Sunday in the other. JMHO

I talked to a few players this past season that said flying out to Abbotsford was better than an overnight bus trip on a sleeper bus.

I'd love to meet any player who thinks the bus is a better way to go.

Most teams still bus to Abbotsford.... They fly to Seattle then bus up to Abbotsford because it's an easier drive than flying to Vancouver and busing to Abbotsford.

1) Thanks for the advice. if Abbie ever gets on Hershey's slate, I'd be there.

2) There's a ton of difference between "busing to Abbotsford" and "flying to Seattle and busing to Abbotsford".

Shame they have to fly to Seattle, considering there's an international airport in Abbotsford. But then again, these teams aren't flying charter. Much cheaper to fly to Seattle and bus it, then to fly into Vancouver anyway.

I have looked it up online and I was wondering what are we doing when it comes to the playoffs? crossover?

I can't remember reading anything or seeing a post about this.

You mean each Conference that has eight teams? right.

Example if Portland finishes 5th but has more points that the 4th place team in the East they would not move over correct?

(I really feel like an idiot not knowing this by now.)

If the 5th place team in the conference with 8 teams has more points than the 4th place team in the conference with 7 teams, then the 5th place team will cross over and replace the 4th place team.

Of course I think most fans want a division format and more games between conferences. Right now, the way the schedule is done, you can not out a team from the playoffs without ever having played that team or even most of the teams in the division.

I am so happy we get to see so many teams 10 times each here in Chicago.
