Hopefully we don't drop off the intensity. Potential for home ice, but at the very least hopefully we can move into 5 / 6.

Wonder if we go with Ellis again and let Emery rest up

If Hiller really is available, why not give it to him? Haven't looked through the possible implications of a loss today regarding the opponent, but it's really the last game-test we can give to him before things have gone South in the playoffs. Emery has had good results, but to be honest, I am not feeling perfectly comfortable with him, probably just due to his weird style. So if there's really not much to lose tonight and Hiller looks there in practise and really is perfectly "available", I don't see much of a downside in starting him.

Hayward was saying that when Hiller practices, he looks great for 15 or so minutes, but then the vertigo issues start to kick in a bit and he looks like he wants to come off the ice. So by the sounds of that, Hiller has to learn to fight through it [basically retrain himself per say] before he'll be back to his best

So I feel that might be the problem, he probably needs to work on that still to get going again..but I dunno. He didn't look in a great mood sitting on the bench for someone who could be on the verge of coming back to the #1 job

Available doesn't necessarily mean ready.
Looks lost in recent practices imo.

Ah, alright, thanks for that. Interesting. I find it kind of odd that the Ducks would declare him available (the difference being noted) if the issues are still that visible. I guess the goaltending decision tonight will ultimately tell us how they feel about his readiness at this point, then.

I wish Hiller the best with his recovery, as mentioned above this thing has him down.
It would be nice to have some ice time to help build confidence but we seemed to have run out of time.
Who knows what will happen - Coach Random Generator is capable of anything

I'd hope we'd just give him rest and to work on the issues looking towards next season. Young Hillsy has plenty of years left in him yet!

I hope the Ducks go back to Ellis again tonight. No need to bring Hiller back on such an important game.

Ducks having a morning skate today? Anyone know where to find which goalie is first off the ice or if there's an announcement as to which netminder will start?

I hope the Ducks win causing the queens to drop to 8th with a trip to Vancouver. That would be a short series!

I'm glad KDOC added this game.

I can only handle a few Jim Fox games a season.

Win tonight would be huge especially if phx and Nashville, etc. lose we could end up playing one of them potentially.

Let's go out on top boys

Huge game, could very well be the difference between advancing and going home in the first round. Please don't play Hiller.

Go Ducks!

I hope that Selänne will be at 8th place in points after the regular season is over . It just makes sense.

Hiller needs to sit. Sadly I think he's done for the season and there's no point blowing a third game trying to teat him - put in perspective the games against the Sharks and Preds where he let in 3 bad goals and the Ducks lost by 1 would mean the Ducks were playing for the #2 seed tonight.....

As it is, if the Ducks lose, Blackhawks get 1 point, and the Ducks get the prize of playing the Canucks. No thank you. The Ducks could beat them because of matchups but I'd rather save it for later if at all possible.....

Plus, if the Ducks win the Kings get the Canucks. And seeing them lose 6 in a row would be sweet

I'm going tonight - anyone else?

These are the scenarios for seeding:

If Ducks win (Regulation or Overtime or Shootout) PLUS:
Phoenix loss to San Jose and Nashville loss to St. Louis = #4 seed
Phoenix loss to San Jose and Nashville win vs. St. Louis = #5 seed
Phoenix win vs. San Jose and Nashville loss to St. Louis = #5 seed
Phoenix win vs. San Jose and Nashville win vs. St. Louis = #6 seed

All losses need to be in regulation. Overtime for either Phoenix or Nashville would have the same effect as a win for each team.

If Ducks win nothing Chicago does will affect Anaheim's seeding.

If Ducks lose (Regulation) PLUS:
Chicago Overtime or Shootout loss = #8 seed
Chicago Regulation loss = #7 seed
Chicago Overtime or Regulation or Shootout win = #8 seed

If Ducks lose (Overtime or Shootout) PLUS:
Chicago Overtime or Shootout loss = #7 seed
Chicago Regulation loss = #7 seed
Chicago Overtime or Regulation or Shootout win = #8 seed

Nothing Dallas does regardless of a Ducks' win or loss will effect Anaheim's seeding.

These should be all of the scenarios for tonight/tomorrow.
