Really miss jonesy. Still think it was a mistake letting him go. If we had had more patience with him, I feel like he would've been a staple on our team.

I think he has every right to be bitter, anytime a team waives a player it isn't like they are going to be like "OOOOOOOOMGGGGG LOVE NASHVILLE XOXOX" get real.
Well everyone thought the same thing when he lit it up in Edmonton.
Then we remembered it was Edmonton and he was on the top 2 lines.

Yeah I don't have a problem with Jones' comment. Hockey players are competitive and prideful by nature. Plus, I don't see it as malicious. Just some fun-natured chirping.

There really wasn't room for Jones here though. His development was taking too long and he still isn't as great as he originally projected to be. It would have been nice for him to get some more seasoning in Milwaukee, but he wasn't waiver exempt. Instead he went to the Oilers to finish his development, which is basically an AHL team

Of course the trend is a little disturbing. Peverley, Jones, and Santorelli all recently excelled elsewhere. Poile saw the potential in them obviously, but for whatever reason Trotz couldn't get them to reach it.

No, I didn't expect him to profess love for Nashville, but would've thought he would be more professional about it, especially when using a social medium such as twitter. Both he and Pevs could've ended up languishing in Milwaukee, and never been called up in the first place.

All a matter of perspective, I guess.

Zetterberg, Cleary and Howard all look like they will be out for Friday. Good news for you Preds fans.

Chicago is up 4-0 on the Rangers after the 1st.

In other news, plans for an arena are announced in Seattle, but they say it won't happen without a NBA or NHL team.

Whew, we got our win in before Chicago turns it around. Good timing

Gotta figure the Sabres new billionaire owner isn't happy with what his money is getting him. Question is, are they pathetic enough to get Ruff fired?

Nice goal.

"Here comes the stimulation" Very weird analysis of the play.

Did he also say something like "pulls the pants down and spanks it home"?

Maybe we are a bit too critical of Crispy

So with McGrattan and Hornqvist out, who would be the first call up from Milwaukee if someone else falls to the injury bug?

James Neal resigned with the Pens, 6 years, $5 million per year. Said Neal, "I love everything about what goes on here and how we play the game," Neal told the team's website. "I just couldn't see myself anywhere else."

Hey Suter, I know you've said the same things in the past, but the difference is, Neal's actions speak louder than his words.

Datsyuk just had knee surgery. Why couldn't he have done that last week?

Hope the reports are true and it's just minor. I know he's in our division, but a player that's this talented, you never want to see injured. Anytime there's an injury with someone's knee, I cringe a little bit.

Injuries are part of the game. The Preds have had their fair share over the years. If I have to choose between Datsyuk out for a while and the Preds gaining a spots on the Wings, I'll go with the injury every time.

Hope Dats is ok, but I would be ok with gaining on the Wings a little

not that we needed a reason to keep hating the Wings, but Berscuzzi re-upped for two more years at 2.2 mil per...
