Any reason Drewiske isn't an option for the poll? Wouldn't necessarily pick him but he's still a prospect according to HF criteria (6 games short of the 65 game graduation mark).

if you add Drewiske then you gotta add Moller, Parse etc...,...anyways this subject was already tackled in previous posts

the op felt that he wanted to do a poll based on players that havent played in the NHl or have played only a couple of games

I'm still going with Martinez and will be laughing hard if he doesn't make it into our Top-20.

BTW, good call adding Meckler. IMHO, this is his last year to demonstrate he's capable of playing in the NHL. Though the same thing *might* be said of Constantin Braun, remember that it took Fransson (another European) an extra 2-3 seasons to finally become worthy of a contract. That said, please add Braun. Thanks!

Also......

If our voting will, indeed, take us up to 30 prospects, do not forget about Nolan and Pelech. Personally, I find those two difficult to remember. In that they both appear to be role-playing, "bottom six" type players, I believe neither has a very strong chance of imploding up our depth chart ahead of Lewis, Cliche, etc.......

Drewiske and Parse are on 1-way contracts. Moller is still a prospect.

We've gone beyond the point where my opinion is of no value. I know nothing about too many of these kids.

I assumed we're using HF criteria since we're on HF. Guess not.

FYI, these are HF standards.
Quote:
A player will be considered a prospect until he meets the following criteria:

1. If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenseman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.
2. An NCAA player who signs his first contract at or above the age of 22 has three years to meet the above criteria (65/45), while those NCAA players that turn pro under the age of 22 will be subjected to
the criteria above.
3. European players who sign their first NHL contract at or above the age of 22 have three seasons from the time they sign that contract to meet the above criteria. Those European players below the age of 22 that have signed a NHL contract will be subjected to the criteria in section one.
By HF criteria, Moller has graduated because he has played 74 games. Parse has graduated because he is 3 years removed from college. Drewiske has not graduated according to HF criteria, being 2 years removed from college and being 6 games short of the 65 game mark.
