Ricky Steamboat has suffered a brain aneurysm. His prognosis seems to be optimistic, but these things are always unpredictable and dangerous.

I really hope the NXT angle wasn't a factor that led to this.
Damn. Hopefully he recovers. Steamboat's awesome.

Want a more honest look at WCW? Download some shoot interviews. Guys like Disco Inferno give honest views and were never upset about being held back - but they give you the real down low of the business.

I'm sure there are a few other guys like Disco, who could be very imformative with a shoot interview. Possibly a guy like Sid or even Vampiro. Bobby Hennan would also be a good one.

I definitely agree les Habs. I enjoyed the DVD, but I just wish it was a full hour longer. There was so much more to cover and I didn't want it to end.

I read that he is in stable condition. I definitely hope and pray he's okay.

Not that was said, I really hope this has nothing to do w/ the set up on Raw. WWE was taking a turn for the good lately and I don't want to see them tone it down a little because of a few injuries.

That's actually a really good idea. We can even take it a step further and have seperate threads for Raw and Smackdown discussions. But not sure how others would feel about that.

We could definitely do GDT's for Raw and Smackdown. I'd say Impact too but no one watches that

GDT: Raw
GDT: Smackdown!
GDT: Xplosion/Impact [I will not be watching as I haven't watched an episode of TV since Daniels was dismissed. I still watch the PPVs because they actually let the guys and girls wrestle, but I'll never watch an episode of TV until 1) Daniels is back or 2) Hulk/Eric are gone].

Then some type of other thread for Superstars, Vintage Collection, and NXT.

pretty sure thats gonna be an autoban, cheeky monkey.

I am also considering a thread for Vic and Morozov all to themselves. We'll call it a steel cage death match and neither one can come out until the other one is dead.

Tonight's episode of SmackDown was rather lame, me thinks.

don't forget the winner doesn't pin the other guy or make him submit...he climbs a frigging ladder and looks as graceful as a duck on ice trying to unhook the hanging briefcase.

Why is this a frigging PPV again?

sigh

sorry, OT

From theChicago Sun Times of Sunday, 7-4

Not really a spoiler if it's in a newspaper IMO, but if you're not looking to the immediate future, I wouldn't read it.

Undertaker Marries Michelle McCool

I guess this took place last weekend.

I have 3 quick observations here:
- it's not official until her name is tattooed on his neck.
- he looks pretty good for being in a " vegetative state " .
- wouldn't it be cool if the minister turned out to be Eric Bischoff ??????

Someone convince me to watch wrestling again. I've completely lost interest over the past month and don't have the will to watch either TNA or WWE.

The Indys bore me to death as well these days, so please, no ROH/Chikara/etc. recs.

Try Dragon Gate then or any Japanese promotion. You may enjoy it, who knows.

If you're not interested in TNA, WWE, or ROH -- there's not much we can do for you, especially if ROH can't hold your attention.

My advice? Take a few months away from wrestling. Come back in a few months, pop in some of your favourite DVDs/VHS and you'll be hooked again.

It will be, Taker is crazy like that.

I think being with McCool helped him out of that vegetative state, if you catch my drift. I wonder if he gave her a tombstone or a Styles clash as well.

It's breaking kayfabe releasing that pic, omg. Seeing Taker smile like that is weird because he's usually talking about taking our souls and such.

Hogan spoiler

Spoil:
While plans have Rob Van Dam retaining the TNA World Title at Victory Road in the match against Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy and Abyss, one top name is pushing for a title change.

Hulk Hogan has been pushing for Abyss to win the World Title at Victory Road but itís not confirmed to happen. This would mean that the Abyss vs. Hogan match planned for Bound For Glory would be for the belt, Hoganís first title shot.

This would open room for Rob Van Dam vs. Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory for the #1 contenderís spot.
