in other news, wade barretts finisher is awesome. will supercena get up now to pump the crowd?
Barrett's finisher looks awkward and lame though has good impact. Joe Hennig (I will not call him by the other name) had an amazing finisher on NXT Tuesday. Looks brutal, can come from out of nowhere and can be done on anyone. I know he does the Perfect Plex (one of my all-time faves) but if he wants to make a name for himself that finisher will help create his own persona.
fantastic. the crowd last night was extremely pro-heel, and i suspect a bit of an "older" crowd. of course still full of kids, but i was impressed with the excitement for the heels.
It was a much older crowd than what I think WWE has been drawing. I don't know how many times it got through to the broadcast but there was at least 10 Daniel Bryan chants. Jericho got lots of love, as did Orton and Edge. CM Punk had a large following there as well.
Overall I don't think wwe creative/Vince can be too happy with the crowds pro-heel status. The Cena hate was palpable.

If they're not happy then they have to stop forcing their fans who to cheer for.I.E: Having Jericho say that he wasn't really Canadian when the show is in his hometown was one of the dumbest moves i've ever seen since i've been watching WWF.
I love John Cena, the wrestler and the Mike skills, but every ******* week it's how againts all odd, he will prevail with the C-nation and the WWE universe by his side and bla bla bla, it's so childish it's starting to make me sick to my stomach.
According to pwinsider the WWE has started working on 3 new DVD releases:
- a Best of Bobby " The Brain " Heenan set ( scheduled for release on December 18th )
- The 100 Craziest Moments in WWE History ( scheduled for release on December 24th )
- Best of Smackdown set ( no release date yet )
I don't mind Sheamus, he's grown on me a bit, I would have preferred Orton, but it's better than Cena.
As for Rey, yeah...might not watch as much Smackdown, just the Punk segments and anything else that catches my eye. I'm really disappointed Punk is gonna be drawn into the Kane story it seems. Hopefully it works out well for him. He needs a title push soon.
I don't quite get all the Rey hate. It's only the second time he's had the title so in that regard he's not like Cena who has had it a million times. Sure his persona caters to the kids a bit, and the underdog thing can be a bit annoying. But the guy is one hell of a wrestler and his matches are actually entertaining unlike Cena.
I don't really have any qualms with the title change. Swagger was getting stale, Big Show? no thanks. Punk would have been my choice but he doesn't really need the title right now, he has a lot going for him.
