Who's Montreal untouchable?

With the draft coming this friday and Halak's trade last week, there are a lot of rumors throughout the NHL. A lot of trades are going to happen for the next week and during the draft and all of it will make this week, a very exciting one. So, who is or are the players from our organization that might be considered untouchable?

My picks: PK Subban and Carey Price.

Subban, Price, Eller

Probably Cammalleri and Gionta too since they were signed as free agents to long term contracts. Trading either after just a year wouldn't make the organisation look good.

Eller - Gauthier said he was really excited to get him and from the Blues, he wasn't willing to go with someone else. He obviously loves this guy, so he's not about to just up and trade him.

Leblanc - A french canadian player drafted in Montréal and has a decent upside ? Yeah, if he's dealt, especially for someone who isn't French Canadian, everywhere pure hatred.

Price - He was chosen over Halak, so he's our goalie of the future.

Subban - Great guy and a very skilled player and potential star for our team.

Gomez - How can we deal that contract without losing a top prospect ?

Cammalleri - Very good with the media, a great all around guy.

Gionta - Contract + heart + potential captain.

Gorges - great story, gives it all for us and has shaped himself into an important player for our team.

Really, we have a fair amount of "Untouchables", but it's not all because they're great players. Really, Subban is the only one. Maybe cams ? The rest are because of contract, just acquired, or Price.

I wonder what Blues' fans think of us and our love for Eller and how much we value him already...

Very interesting. Looks like our best defenceman, Andrei Markov, didn't get a a lot of votes. Does this mean that he is tradable? lol

He's very important and good. However, we could potentially land top 20 d in the future and a solid forward for him. That would strengthen the team considerably, but it would put a ton of pressure on Subban to mature into something like Markov.

I'm surprised Markov isn't mentionned a lot. Unless there's a retarded offer we can't refuse, he's one of the most unlikely players to be dealt.

Such as who?

Jack Johnson and Brown?
Edler and Kesler?
Vlasic and Marleau?

It's Markov, easily top 7 dman. It better be a damn good deal.

I would pay a 2nd rounder for a team to take Leblanc because we had the best year in 15 years when we had the least amount of montrealers on this team in 15 years.

get rid of the local boys and we can finally go far. no montrealers plz.

why are so many people putting Eller as untouchable?

Subban, Price, Cammalleri for me.

I would say Price, Subban, Cammarelli, Gionta and the Habs 1st round pick.
