I think we are deep with players that can play LW some are centers though. Smyth, Fro, Richardson, Parse, Holloway, Moller, Kozun, Loki, Lewis, and Harrold...hahahahah maybe missing some. Who do we have at the right side, Williams, Brown, Simmonds, Clifford and ....... the last 3 play a pretty similar game. What about a RW sniper to play with Kopi and Smyth.

and who is playing 2nd line ???????
Willimiams broken leg would happen to everyone in that situation.
He is not really injurie prone he is unlucky. Just take a look what kind of injuries he had.

I'm pretty sure we can fix these issues on a lot cheaper way.

Trade Stoll fo a vet #5 defender and pair him with a kid
Just bring in Kovalchuk that's it.

Kovalchuk - Kopitar - Williams
Smyth - Richardson - Brown
Parse - Handzus - Simmonds................... that's a pretty good top 9

now the difficult part. Convince Lombardi to bring in a true hockey coach.
IMO still the coaching staff is the biggest issue we have.
There is no player in the world who could fix that

That's a pretty good top 9 but who would you suggest DL bring in to coach them?

I'm pretty sure Clifford is a LW.

Clifford and Clune are LW's. Westgarth is RW.

Actually, I think all the gritty prospects are LW.

As for needing a RW...not too sure why we would. If anything, we need to unload a RW (Williams).

In order of needs:

1. LW sniper
2. #2 center
3. top 4 dman
4. RW

So far, Josh has the best "under the radar" idea: Michael Frolik (and we'd still have a 'Fro on the team)

Adding firepower to the left side will help take the heat off of guys like Brown and Williams. When Willy got back from his broken leg our offense was lacking a little so on top of the desire to get back, he also felt the need to help get his team back on track which contributed to his struggles. Same with Brown, Brown struggles when he feels like he needs to contribute more and he tries to do to much.

If we strengthen the left side, there will be more room for all of them and less of a responsibility on these guys who feel the need to have a bounce back season.

That right there is a nice looking offense.

I just worry that Smyth, Williams, and Gagne all have a history of injuries. If Smyth and Gagne were to go down around the same time, we'd be ****ed.

I thought the same thing. but DL has shown no fear in talking on injury-prone players.
