Ok now you're not even trying.

I like how you added Kaberle in there for good measure.

A few months from now, on game day, we'll look back fondly on this comment and laugh.

Then we'll watch as they raise Modano's number to the rafters as he attends the game wearing a suit and tie, enjoying his retirement from hockey.

Why would the Devils retire Modano's number?

Because he signed a one-day contract to retire as a Devil.

Any score predictions?

Looks like we will start at 0-1. But consiering our leadership, thats not really psychic abilities there.

well the Stars first game might have just got a bit easier - If the Devils don't end up with Kovalchuk they become much more manageable.

It's still going to be a heavily upgraded version of the 09-10 Devils, which were already pretty good. New additions so far include Jason Arnott, Henrik Tallinder, and Anton Volchenkov.

I'll be there in my black and green Stars Jersey Since the Stars decided to skip MSG this year despite going everywhere else in the Tri-state area, I'll have to trek down to Newark to see them.

Hope we don't lose our first game of the season!

For your sake, I hope they don't lose what was it? 4-0? last year like they did when I was in Newark. I never had any fan problems though. They were more willing to fight with each other than they were with a Stars fan.

they should loan Kovalchuk to a swiss team. Problem solved.

**The salary cap is a joke when there's so many ways for a rich club to get out from under it without losing anything in return.
