Sighting: P.K. Subban

I was walking my dog in a park on Spadina, just north of Front St. in Toronto. There was someone training in the southeast corner of the park, with whom I believe was a personal trainer. He looked over a few times, I think because I had my dog (a rottweiler) off-leash. I had a chance to go an talk to him for a minute and heap a HUGE amount of praise on him. He is very humble and he took it all in stride (I think he was a bit embarrassed actually). He is pretty big in person, though I suppose that's true of most hockey players not playing on the forward lines in Montreal.

He was kind enough to take a picture with me. Take a look at your future captain!

PK Stud Subban. Hes a beast, guaranteed a C or A on his jersey in the future.

They'll invent a new letter system just for him. He'll wear G on his sweater one day.

Subban rules, working hard all the time trying to improve.

I bet P.K was afraid of the Rotti, owned two of them myself and people would cross the street when I walked them.

Even as a Leaf fan, I expect big things from PK. I've followed his career for a quite a few years, so I look forward to his progression. Always a great interview

It's also nice to see him training in Ontario with his Canadiens t-shirt on!

He's going to give reporters fits one day when they can only allow for xx amount of seconds of air time and he just keeps going and going.

I didn't ask him. I was trying to be as little a disruption as possible. I will say this for the man, he is built alright up top, but I think his biggest attribute is his leg strength. He is thick and powerful in the thigh and calf area.

I said it once, I'll say it again. Future best black hockey player in the history of the NHL. Thanks Bob and Trevor.
