How does that help the Thrashers AT ALL.... ****!

Is Chicago still going to be forced to not tender RFAs?

Even without considering their trading position of being *** ****ed by the cap this deal is STILL terrible for Atlanta... Chicago must have proposed it after slipping their GM some acid.

Edit: Well, at least Aliu is a good prospect going the other way, but still... terrible deal.

Oh ****. Chicago gets rid of a ton of grit, very few brains, no goals, and get good picks and Jeremy Morin.

What the HELL is Atlanta thinking???

Atlanta is so, so stupid wtf did they accomplish other than give a Cup winning team that was bound to be screwed cap wise the exact cap relief they needed, all in one trade no less.

Atlanta does not know what leverage means.

The Hawks' brass must be howling over this. They should have gotten royally screwed over but they got very lucky.

Dustin Byfuglien is not a beast. I will never understand why people think he is

At this point Atlanta should only be allowed to make trades if 2/3 of the other GMs would make a similar deal. They just keep getting worse and making terrible trade after terrible trade.
