So yeah. We kind of have a mess. Discuss how to fix it.

Throw Jokinen's clothes in the street. Buy Redden a bus ticket to Hartford.

That's pretty much all you need to do.

Let Jokinen walk, find a way to get rid of Redden.

Trade Rozsival if you can get something decent back.

Don't re-sign Girardi.

Sign Volchenkov.

Bury Redden literally if need be.
Keep integrating the youth.
Prudent free agent acquisitions.
Stay the course.

I know I am gonna get criticized for this, and I realize he will probably be locked up before july 1st, but i would absolutely throw a 10 year / $80 mil offersheet at backstrom. He is absolutely worth 4 pics and 8 mil, and having a 22 year old 100 point getting center for 10 years would set the rangers up well

Fire Sather
Sign Volchenkov.
Redden meet Hartford. Hartford, Redden.
Trade for a 30 goal scorer.

get back z-man and renny

I am really feeling trying to get back tom renney and zherdev...

let olie bounce, resign prust...

and like everyone else was saying we must rid our selves of redden and rosi

with them in the line up we will never be a top contender for the cup

Correct...

Just stay the course and keep making the smartest decisions possible.

I'd keep Rozy, but if we could get something decent for him then I'd do that too. Guy is a good defenseman and easily in our top 3.

Do away with Redden.

Wave bye to Jokinen.

Keep Prust, Shelley, and even Christensen if you find nothing else available. Also keep Vinny.

We'll still have Redden, and we'll still have Torts. Sad, but true.

Some of his decisions are asinine. The team he was given sucked, but that still doesn't excuse him from piss-poor strategy and execution.

He couldn't have made this team any better than what they finished.

Same with Renney.

I would figure you people who blamed Renney would have smartened up by now and realized that it was not the coach.

We had a good coach in Renney and we actually have a good coach in Torts.

The only way the Rangers are gonna get on track is if they change the man putting the team together.

Here are 10 things I'd like to see.

1) Fire Sather
2) Fire Torts
3) Resign Staal, Prust and Shelley
4) Inquire about Brad Richards and if he is indeed on the market
5) Trade Rosival
6) Rebuild the Wolfpack
7) Trade Girardi for a Forward
8) Sign Volchenkov
9) Sign another goal scorer
10) Have Anisimov take Redden on a "vacation" to Siberia and just leave him there, never to be seen again.

And for the love of God no Messier!!!

1)Get rid of Wade Redden....however you have to do it, waive him, trade a draft pick with him to get rid of him...whatever.
2)Sign Ilya Kovalchuk at all costs.

let the rest figure itself out.

so let me get this straight...youd give up an 8 million dollar offersheet, and 4 first rounders up...instead of signing Kovalchuk, who is a better player?

Really?

Backstrom is a damn good player...but everyone on that team has absurdly inflated numbers due to the talent they have.

I'd like to see Torts one more season with a team that may actually have potential to score goals. I mean, the choice of Joker tonight was probably the the one thing he has done all year that had really pissed me off. The shuffling had its moments, but that was just awful. I digress.

Don't re-sign Joker. Obviously. Keep Prust, and Shelley.

Just get rid of ****ing Redden. Seriously, anyway possible. Rozy, him too, please. He was okay down the stretch, but he's not getting paid to be okay. Pathetic.

Girardi would be decent on this team if it wasn't a steaming pile of crap, I wouldn't mind him coming back.

Get a god damn play making number one center for Gaborik. Sorry, Christ, and Dubi just aren't options. Arty still isn't ready, if he ever will be, either. Someone mentioned Backstrom, that would be awesome, but I doubt it.

Don't get Kovalchuk. I truly believe he'd play awful here. Edit: Maybe "awful" is the wrong word. I just don't think he'd be worth a huge signing.

Keep Christensen. He could be a pretty good 2-3rd line center, I think. Keep Prospal as well. He was streaky, but so was Gaborik.

Sather... god does it even matter? It's still going to be awhile before the damage is reversed whether or not he is here. He'll still be around long enough to ruin free agency signings for this coming season.

That's all I've got.

1.) Assassinate Sather
2.) Fire Tortorella
3.) Bury Redden
4.) Let Ollie walk
5.) Make sure our fourth line stays together
6.) Bring Zherdev back
7.) Sign Volchenkov
8.) Trade up in the draft to get some high impact scoring talent for once
9.) Sign Marc Staal to a very long term deal
10.) Resign Prospal

It's disturbing how much more I can add to this list.
