I got it off of her Twitter feed a few minutes ago. I don't think it's actually posted to the LA Times site yet.

On a different note, Murray came in 5th in Jack Adams award voting

Yeah I meant the article, not on LAKings.com, Hammonds site or LA Times.com...

I would have liked to have seen them win a playoff series before any of these extensions.

But its not a terrible thing.

Love it! In Dean I trust.

The Murray extension seems a bit early, would have liked to see what next season brings first.

Well, if it looks like their turning into Sharks 2.0 the deal will be up and they can leave. That's the nice thing about a short extension, kinda like the 2nd contract thing DL talks about.

TM deserved an extension, whether you like his system or not. He got the results.

Lombardi will always have a job in the NHL, and Hextall will be a GM soon...good move, especially for Lombardi...I would like to see what he does once we are done "rebuilding." He really only had about one year of that in San Jose, where he could deal assets for veterans to make a better push into the playoffs.

Everything but Murray makes sense. But it is easier to fire a coach than a GM, wasn't Crawford signed for 4 years and fired after 2?

I don't mind Murray for two more, anyone have a feeling now Stevens is primed to take over if he ever gets canned?

More than likely. I expect the John Stevens hiring to be announced any day now.

I wouldn't see these results as a step forward.
You and me could coach these results.

I have a big problem with what we didn't reach instead being happy not to miss the playoff
