New York Rangers Draft Party

Just got an e-mail, they haven't done one of these in awhile, I believe since 2006?

Kreider, Werek and Bourque will all be there.

Too bad i'm working that night or I would have went.

Seems like a nice place, a little small though

Out of curiosity, how are events like this affected by NCAA Eligibility? I know they have to pay their own way to things like the prospect camp, but for this are they allowed to have parts of it paid for?

"Lotta people here tonight huh?"

"Yeah, it's 9 dollar beer night"

I'll be passing on this, even with Kreider, Bourque and Werek there.

I've been to the Hill, it's pretty much in my neighborhood. When I've been there it wasn't stuffy. Mostly just young people drinking beer.

I may go to this.

The Hill has a ******-y, fratty, "bros icing bros" clientele that usually irks me, but if the Rangers are renting it out for the draft party, I may consider going.

If I was anywhere near the city and had friends interested in going I would be there in a heartbeat. Does anyone know what channels the draft will be on? Versus? CBC? Will it be streamed?

Hmmmm pay over $100.00 for some way overpriced food and beer. Meet 3 guys who have yet to play an NHL game. Be there for the ten minutes of excitment when we make our one and only pick that night.

I think I will stay home, enjoy it on my big screen in HD and order some food.

I'm only 17 so I'm not going. They should have had it at MSG unless somethings already going on there.

Only if Blackburn is there they will do that (like the 06 draft party and they chose Montoya)

They donate a lot of their equipment. Holding it in the Theatre would cost money which means it wouldn't be free.

point well taken however exhibition games are full priced they ain't free either for the fans ..there has to be some give back to keep the consumer happy..how bout a season ticket holder party on draft day....a great way to talk and celebrate the upcoming season before July and August
