Well, media doors don't open until 11am, or at least that's what they tell me. Maybe they just think I look like a shady character. Can't say I disagree.

I'm chillin over in the Marriott until 11am.

Does anyone know if there will be an online audio (or video) link for the draft?

I think Versus had one on their website last year. Or was it NHL.com? One of the two should have it.

How cool will it be if we traded up to 11 and took Etem away from the dux?!

Keith Tkachuk was drafted 19th overall. I would love to see the Kings drafting Tkachuk II. Now, the question is, which one is Tkachuk II.

So is this the thread we're supposed to be talking in today? I'm kind of posting all over the place at the moment

I think this is the right one. It says GDT, so it sounds right. Just go with it.

Curious to see if any of our roster players get traded for pick or picks.

Well the commissioner's lunch was a nice way to kill some time before the draft... Now I wonder what I'll do for the next four hours. Just drinking beer won't do it alone.

Maybe the World Cup.. But I'm in such a hockey mindset I can't be bothered with soccer.

7PM Eastern, I guess that'd make it 4PM Pacific? Man it's a crazy concept for me to have a country with different time zones. It just seems so.. inconvenient

An interview with Lombardi on what goes on 'behind the scenes' at the draft. I found it very interesting!

Inconvenient?

It's the opposite of inconvenient!

If you live on the West Coast and have Center Ice and a Digital Video Recorder, you can DVR an Eastern Time Zone game (or games) and start watching them a couple of hours in and zip through the commercial breaks and intermissions. When you're finished, you can switch over to the Kings' game you have also been DVRing, and zip through the breaks and the first intermission until you catch up with the "Live" broadcast.

Here's an update about nothing:

Real_ESPNLeBrun:

Kings GM Dean Lombardi tells me he's got nothing cooking right now

Starting to think LA is going to be pretty quiet this year at the draft.

Actually, that's not true. I'm sending this from my Droid right now, in the PR seats @ Staples. My wife is on the phone on hers. It's not the reception, it's the congestion. Too many people trying to use it at once. That said, it has gotten better in the last few years.

Maybe 10% capacity right now. Maybe.

In comparison, I'm told that last year in Montreal, by this time, not only was the arena completely filled but the crowd was already chanting.
