They are having a live Q&A session tomorrow on NYR.com and you can submit your questions now.

Hopefully we will get some inside info on who they are looking at.

I wish they would do this immediately after the draft... How much information can they really divulge prior to the draft? Not much...

He said we are drafting Skinner if he is there!

....ok he didn't say that, he is saying nothing about any players, two thumbs down.

Here is the interview on video:

http://rangers.nhl.tv/team/console.j...d=765&id=72873

Its only about 25 minutes long and trust me, there is nothing worthy of a transcript. He did not mention one single name in the draft.

Jeff Gorton will be on in 15 minutes.

What I thought was more disappointing was the comment about Dolan and Sather absolutely not wanting to build through lottery picks. Guess "build on the fly" is still the mantra.

"Just keep rearranging the deck chairs" is more like it. Nothing will change until Sather leaves office in another decade or two.

Its working fine now.

He just confirmed they have a guy targeted and they think he will be there. They have really been watching this kid he stated. They have had their guys snooping around to see what other teams are thinking

Looking for a Russian to drop down if you kinda listen between the lines. Not sure Connolly is in their plans

Feed was just cut for some reason.

Anyway that was a much better interview then Clark's yesterday. Gorton seems to really know his stuff well and is very well spoken!

About 7 hours till we have our man!

Really hope Gorton replaces Sather and not Messier.

Secretly praying on a nightly basis in fact.

But what does that even mean? How else does one build a successful team in the salary cap era?
