I'm very disappointed that we gave up a 2nd round pick in order to draft Tinordi, I don't have anything against him (although I would have preferred one of the forwards that were still available).. But the 2nd round pick could pot us someone like Brock Nelson, B. Ross, etc.. Ugh I hope Gauthier makes some other moves and gets rid of some of our useless players for picks

Same here, but I seriously doubt it'll happen.

We're not picking for another 83 positions...

Who do we trade for that pick? We can't trade Andrei for a 2nd rounder, it would be dumb to trade Maxpac, Hamrlik isn't worth a 2nd...

All forwards must be small enough that they need a step ladder to get over the boards at the bench.

Why can't we trade SK to Florida for a second?

If they have guys they like mid 2nd round(Kabanov or McFarland maybe), they can probably trade a couple 4ths for a late 2nd.

Well, this draft is very deep, and some of the players in the 2nd round could have been draft in the first !

Listen... we gave up the 57th pick ffs! you ppl thinking we could get Ross or Mcfarland with the 57th pick are crazy. If we can somehow get an earlier second though, I'm all ears. I still believe Mcfarland will be a solid NHL player.

Mcfarland IMO will at best be a bit better or worse than Patrick O'sullivan. Decent second round material, but even there I'd draft another 15 players ahead of him right now.

Don't think it matters, there's lots of name out there but it's a deep draft, and we usually do pretty well in the later rounds.

If the deal is right but I wouldn't go out of my way tho

I would totally love to trade and get a 2nd round pick to grab Pulkkinen. Do it PG.

You could say that about ANY draft.

Think some team is willing to take a gamble and give us a 2nd or 3rd for Sergei Kostitsyn or Ben Maxwell? I highly doubt it..but I can hope, right?
