I never thought I'd find myself saying this but it's official.

We are the Raiders of the NHL.

And I'm a Raiders' fan.

Could have had the next Brian Leetch, and the Rangers pick the next Beukeboom instead. At #10 overall.

Mindboggling. The Rangers' organization never fails to disappoint.

And as much as I'd like to blame Sather, Gordie Clark has a lot of autonomy in running the draft. No one in this organization has any clue what their doing. It's frightening, yet unsurprising.

Keep drinking the Koolaid--maybe we'll pick up another d-man in the second.

With my first post on HF Boards, I am glad to say: Gordie Clark is an idiot.

I know. I mean, again, maybe if Gordie and his staff are better than almost everyone else and they see a guy who turns into the next Shea Weber, we all go "whoa" but gooooooood god this pick hurts

now the kings are gonna take tarasenko

A deal has been made between the Kings and Panthers that both GM's will go to the podium and laugh at the Rangers for picking Mcilrath

Of course, the Kings get it. I was like a deer in headlights, hoping to hear that it was going to the Rangers.

I keep repeating myself "Hugh Jessiman all over again"

I wish we could have traded down several times like Atlanta did a few years ago. They went from 8 to 12 to 16 and picked up 2 2nd rounders (i think)

LOL look at Bettman milk the announcement.

I thought the specter of 2003-4 was over. This CANNOT be happening.

That's what I'm saying... has to be something said at the combine or something that is unknown.

Tarasenko will be available at 40 and we'll take a goalie.
