Ribeiro is up for grab!

Pierre Lebrun is reporting that he is available! Would be a nice fit with Price and maybe Theo as a backup!!!

I've been hard on him, historically.
At one point, I thought he would be out of the league by now. However he's proven he's much more than a Wellwood, Arnason, kind of replacable offensive player. He's good in the po's too.

Credit were credit is due out of the way, I wouldn't want to revisit the Ribs experiment.

This is probably the lowpoint of this offseason.

To think that a vasectomy consultation today would be the low-point of my day.

Then this...

Seriously? I was obviously being sarcastic, and commenting on how obscenely soft we'd be down the middle if we were to somehow get Ribeiro.

My sarcasm detector must be off today

With some of the stuff posted here I don't know when people are serious or not without the smiley

My bad, carry on

Excellent post. I think this falls under the "TMI" category though.

Well, as many of us predicted, the guy has worn out his welcome on yet another team.

That's my take too. I watch Ribeiro play as a Star, and he's not quite the same guy, he took some of the steps he needed to rise above being one of those marginal soft offensive guys. I too didn't really think he would. But he became a pro. Wouldn't go out of my way to get him back, but he's a step above the punk he left Montreal as.

And to stray... Sergei is going to be better than the punk he leaves as too.

On topic ; No to Ribeiro. Been down that road before and that road should be permanently closed now.

Only way I take Ribeiro is if Hamrlik goes other way. Then we can have a deep center pool. It obviously won't happen and I don't really like Mike, but decent player, just unless we get him for free and Hamrlik goes other way, pass.

I'd do it if gomez went the other way. But again, highly unlikely.

As much as I dislike Gomez's contract. Rather have Gomez than Ribeiro.
