Agreed. Adam Larsson is all kinds of great. I became a huge fan of his by watching him at the WJC last year.

My top 20 for the qmjhl

look to be a much better year for the qmjhl this year + euro will be add later after the chl import draft tommorow. anyway can't be worse than this year...

1-Sean Couturier C Drumondville 6"4 193lbs complete centerman will battle Larsson for no1 overall
2-Thomas Jurco Rw Saint-John 6"0 175lbs high end offensive potential, remind me of Martin Havlat
3-Jonathan Huberdeau C/Lw Saint-John 6"1 155lbs need to get stronger and faster but he know how to put the puck in the net
4-Xavier Ouellet Def Montreal 6"0 174lbs real good puck moving defensemen. was captain of team quebec at u-17wc
5-Nathan Beaulieu Def Saint-John 6"2 175lbs good offensive d-man need to get better in his own end. need to be more consistent in his physical game
6-Jean-Francois Leblanc C Val d'Or 6"4 192lbs big size centerman has good potential, will be at team canada u-18 camp
7-Phillip Danault Lw Victoriaville 5"11 165lbs played for team quebec at the u-17, nice offensive touch and love to to finnish every check
8-Brent Andrews C/Lw Halifax 6"1 197lbs real smart forward, still question mark how much offense upside he really has
9-Jonathan Racine Def Shawinigan 6"1 168lbs stay at home d-man who love to hit.
10-Zack Phillips C Saint-John 6"0 180lbs offensive centerman put up some good stats playing on a stack Saint-John team last year
11-Olivier Archambault Lw Val d'or 5"10 165lbs small skill offensive winger. need to get faster for someone that size to be a solid nhl prospects
12-Christopher Gibson G Chicoutimi 6"0 185lbs stuck behind Gusse in chicoutimi (for now) but i believe he has more pro potential because of his size
13-Gabriel Desjardins Lw Halifax 6"0 197lbs smart two way winger, play for team canada at last april U-18
14-Alexandre Roy Lw Chicoutimi 6"1 193lbs was really impressive in the playoff. big and skill
15-Robin Gusse G Chicoutimi 5"9 166lbs no1 Goalie in the Q at 16yo, move really well but tough to see him as a legit NHL prospects with his size. like his teammate Gibson better
16-Dillon Donnely Def 6"1 185lbs Shawinigan tough as nails d-man, don't know about his skill and already being a member of 3 team after 1 year in the Q
17-Bryce Milson Lw Bathurst 5"10 170lbs didnt see him played but got an invitation to team canada u-18 camp this summer. so thats a good sign
18-Yannick Veilleux Lw Shawinigan 6"1 189lbs had a tough 1st year, remind some of his ex teammate in shawinigan Philippe Paradis
19-Benjamin Laliberté Rw Gatineau 6"1 170lbs good size winger ,heard good things about him from folks in Gatineau. will take a closer look at him next year
20-Garrett Clarke Def Halifax 6"0 198lbs on skill alone should be in the top10 but he's a complete headcase. on ice and off ice discipline is a big issue here.

*insert inappropriate cancer joke here*

But yeah, let's get the younger Hopefully he turns into as much of a beast of a human being like Erik. He's 6'1" 187 which is pretty solid for a 15 year old, add 2 or 3 inches and 15-20 pounds and BOOM!

I'll keep an eye on Andrews, Desjardins & Clarke when I go to some games this year. I expect & (hope) Andrews & Desjardins to break out this year. Clarke does have great skill but your right he does lack discipline and was benched a few times because of it.

Dylan Smoskowitz, Nick Foglia, Phil Di Giuseppe, James Hennessy, Keenan Hodgson, Evan Rodrigues and Cameron Brace perhaps from the OJAHL?

For the people who want to look at him on the net, his name is Nick Foglia. Wasn't able to find him, so I tried Foglia, and I think I found the right guy! ;-)

Namestnikov (London) & Khokhlachev (Windsor) were selected in the 2010 CHL Import Draft. I wonder if they'll report?

I'm kinda disappointed the Habs don't draft out of the OHL more. Since 03, the Habs have selected 7 players from the OHL (*8 if you count Sergei Kostitsyn as an OHL product).

PK Subban (43rd overall 2007)
Sergei Kostitsyn* (200th overall 2005)
Yannick Weber (73rd overall 2007)
Matt D'Agostini (190th overall 2005)
Greg Stewart (246th overall 2004)
Corey Locke (113th overall 2003)
Mark Flood (188th overall 2003)
Jason Missiaen (116th overall 2008)

Despite being mostly late round picks, everyone but Missiaen have played at least one game in the NHL. Not only that, OHL highlights are the easiest to get out of all the CHL leagues.

Is it true Couturier was classified by the Q as just an ordinary player?

I read one of their employees went to scout him because Couturier's father was insisting on him being allowed to play at a higher level in Quebec and the employees' answer was that he was just an ordinary player.

Classified = Broken telephone.

For whatever reason we seem to stink when it comes to drafting out of the OHL in years past, Subban aside.

'02- Andre Deveaux and Tomas Linhart (drafted out of Czech Rep but played one year in the OHL)
'01- Eric Himelfarb and Andrew Archer
'00- Tyler Hanchuck
'99- Matt Carkner, Dusty Jamieson, Sean Dixon
'98- Darcy Harris
'97- Jason Ward
'94- Brad Brown
'93- Rory Fitzpatrick, Alan Letang
'92- Keli Corpse, Craig Rivet, Marc Lamothe, Mike Burman

Yup....and let's not forget that Couturier is from New Brunswick....not Quebec!! Although many RDS boneheads have already touted him as a phenom from Quebec.

I'm still recuperating from the '10 draft but there's one guy I keep having in my mindi and wish that he falls a little is Tomas Jurco. I saw him a lot this year and geez was I impressed every single time. There are a great crop of 15 players next year......We'll see how Jurco develops this year but I wish so much that we could put our hands on him. So imaginative, such a great fluid skater, incredible instincts, isn't afraid when it's going tougher....I mean, honestly, you can't love this guy.

I only used post Timmins draft years. In the past we kinda sucked at drafting period outside of 98.

They Habs have done ok in the WHL and Q when compared to the OHL, seems kind of odd that we have almost nothing in close to 20 years out of the OHL, other then Subban and Rivet.

I think you mean can't NOT love this guy.

But yeah, saw a bunch of him as well, and he does look really good. I went home after a game at the Metro Centre and had to look him up, and was surprised he was still 16 at the time. He really is everything you listed above. I never noticed him really take the initiative to put together a string of aggressive, physical shifts (he mostly just flies out there looking to create), but he never seemed to be put off when receiving that kind of attention either, so I'll give you that.

I do miss some words from time to time....

He does not initiate things physically that's for sure. But like I said, never saw him once shied away from anything.

Where do you guys think Nicklas Jensen Will slot in?

Early to late 2nd round?

He is projected to be a much bigger talent than anything ever to come out of Denmark, ive seen him, he is a beast!

I HOPE, and think he will dominate the OHL!
