Ball hockey ankle guards?

So I closed down a guy's angle on a shot and did my job defensively. In the process, I took the force of his shot on the inside of my ankle.

When playing street/ball hockey does anyone wear ankle guards? Got any recommendations for a pair?

Thanks! This looks promising, but it doesn't appear to cover up what I want to protect. Maybe I'll get it and see.

Make sure you get the "Panda" size or you might be severely disappointed.

Soccer shinguards often have ankle guards on them and they are quite light and comfortable. I got a pair for around $15. You could try that. However, they don't protect the knee so you may want to try some sort of knee pads as well.

Most soccer shin pads have a bit of an ankle guard made of thick cotton.

I also wear ankle tensor bandges that can be picked up at a Walmart for like $15 bucks a piece. I wear them for support so I don't roll/sprain my ankles but I suppose they don't help with blocking shots a little.
