Good game between Vermont and Dartmouth, 5-5 with 8:00 left in the third. It is on ESPNU currently.

Edit 6-5 Vermont.

Vermont hangs on for the win 6-5. Ninth place beats first place in Hockey East.

Shelley suspended 2 games for the hit. Brutal.

Anyone catch the highlights of the Ducks/Wild game last night? Wild defensman (didnt hear his name) loses his stick and then takes Bobby Ryan's stick from him to use......Ryan picks up the dman's dropped stick and then scores with it

It was Mikko Koivu, not a defenseman.

It was opposite hand of Ryan's shooting hand as well, all the more impressive

kinda interesting, probably only to me, but....been listening to my old Atlanta Sports Talk Radio station, its really interesting to hear them talk, albeit for all of 5 min an hour but still to talk about the Thrashers and telling the city to get out and see this Thrashers team...just reminds me how bad 97.1 is...

His best game of the season tonight, most definitely. Really fun game overall.

The Flyers are unreal, we were lucky to have played them before they had their skates sharpened... Several years ago they could hardly win a game, great organization is the bottom line.

Anybody else hear about this?

Look, the Thrashers aren't in a great market to support NHL hockey, I think we all can agree on that, but man, I can't fault this attempt, a rare Bravo goes out to Waddell and the Thrasher Front Office.

http://espn.go.com/nhl/attendance

That 900 extra fans makes us a Tr00 hockey market.

The Thrashers have the same problems as the CBJ--they haven't given fans a reason to support them. They have made the playoffs once. Finally putting in a decent 30 games is not going to bring in the fans overnight.

Pretty funny. I'll echo the sentiment - nice job, Atlanta.
