Dawes has some talent, but not enough to keep from being invisible night after night.

Hes not what we needed back then, nor will he ever be.

Yeah, especially with the signing of Zuc-Aasen. This ship has sailed.

No thanks to Dawes, but hope he finds a new home. I thought he was doing alright in Calgary.

Excluding his 12 game stint in PHX, the guys got ok numbers, 39G/44A/93P in 179 games, that really isn't all that terrible at all.

Someone will pick him up again.

Same here, 32 points in 66 games is not really that bad.

He had a lot of those points at the beginning of the season and then was totally invisible. He adds nothing outside of scoring therefore those 30 points aren't as nice.

If Voros is gone I'd take him back under a mil to replace him. 13th forward possibly? Is that worth blocking one of the kids? We know what we'd get out of him and he's certainly better than Voros.

Just what we need, more 3rd liners to tack on.

Do not needs Dawes part 2.

K, bye.

invisible when he isnt scoring. brings almost nothing to the table besides an offensive outburst every 50th shift or something. totally not worth it.

Rather take a roll with O'Sullivan than Dawes pt 2.

been there, done that. I'm sick and tired of players who need to be playing in top 6 roles but don't have enough skill to pull it off and don't fit into the roles bottom 6 players need to play. Especially since Torts runs with a top 6 scoring / bottom 6 checking and energy paradigm. I'm also sick and tired of coaches playing bottom 6 players instead of these guys before we've found out whether they have the skill to excel in that role.

agree. O'Sullivan has at least proven he can put up top 6 numbers before.

My sentiments exactly.
The Prucha love-fest is soooo creepy.
I love the NY Ranger boards.

No surprise... Doesn't bring anything to the table outside of the occasional scoring.

Never understood why there were a couple people here who actually liked him. Doesn't hit, doesn't have the speed necessary. cannot create on his own.

Oh wonderful, another third liner that would be asked to do too much. Just what we need!

Seriously. Pass.
