Overall yes, but there's good depth in the first 60-90 picks from what I've read.

According to tDon, Haula's been playing with a broken foot.

Sounds kind of weird, but i am actually glad to hear that. Haula was brutal this weekend.

Maybe its my homer glasses but other than his terrible penalty I thought he was one of the only people trying to make quick passes to open up the trap, everyone else just unleashed shots right into them.

Does this mean Backstrom and Mittens will still be with the team in the 16-17 season?!

I wouldn't say brutal but something just wasn't right. It also affected how the rest of his line played, which was good for Jake Hansen but bad for Jacob Cepis.

Zucker nets the OT winner against Mankato last night. Denver moves on to Final Five.

I wish I wasn't nearly as excited for Zucker as I am, but he just keeps impressing me. Hopefully this is a sign to come for our future draft picks.

Found a couple articles on Campbell.

Here is his player profile from UMass-Lowell.

Here is an article on him being named Athletic Republic Co-Player of the Week.

HIFKs playoffs begin friday, Granlund was great during the last ten games or so.

Came up with this great video of Finnish top prospects in the SM-Liiga:

It's about Teemu Pulkkinen (111th Red Wings), Toni Rajala(Oilers) Sami Vatanen (?,ducks), Granlund (Wild), Joel Armia (2011 draftee).

Granlunds part begins at 3:07 with his concussion causing collision with the boards. Followed with articles that said in the worst case scenario his career could be over.

It's definately worth watching.

Johan Larsson's team were eliminated today. Lost their playoff serie 4-1 in games. A success for Larsson though as he played sixth most on the team, fourth most of the forwards averaging 19:50 minutes in 5 playoff games. Very impressed by his play.
I hope and think he'll play for the J20 team for the rest of the season.

Is Larsson playing wing or center? Thanks for the first hand account of how he looked!

Where do you think he projects in terms of a player? Third liner? He's nowhere near being on my radar.

Usually plays at wing, played the last two games at center though when Järnkrok got injured. But he's originally a center. No problem!

Hard to say. He's always been strong and good defensively. But at the WJC-18 tournament he was racking up points and looked outstanding. Not many points in the SEL, but I'm excited to see him next season.

Thanks for the updates! Did Larsson put up any points in the playoffs or was he primarily playing a defensive role?

Two assists. He was used in every game situation, PK, PP, when Brynäs pulled the goalie and needed a goal, so not just a defensive role

As far as the physical aspect of the game is he ready for the NA style? Do you think he would go through a big adjustment period or does it seem like he would transition nicely?

Generally players with multiple years of SEL experience come ready for the North American game.

Alex Steen was a 17 point player in his last year in the SEL. Got 45 points with the Leafs the next season. Mattias Tedenby had 19 points last year over there, has 17 in the NHL this year(5 more in the AHL). Jacob Josefson's split the year between the AHL/NHL when he's been healthy this year.

10 minutes into the first playoff game and Granlund has been easily the best player of the game. I mean EASILY the best, but hit his head to the Crossbar and the post when driving to the net. Left the game now... I hope it's nothing serious. (knock on wood)

Hopefully they're just playing it safe and checking him out because of his recent concussion.
