Wouldve rather had 2 decent goalies and a strong D, than a weak D and 2 above average goalies.

Nittymaki can be very good if he can stay healthy, and at $2mil the Sharks still have some cap room to pick up a free agent defenseman.

Pittsburgh has set the market with Martin at $5mil and Michalek at $4mil. If the Sharks can dump Huskins and/or Mitchell, they can afford Hamhuis or Volchenkov at somewhere in that range. Or, they can try to pick up a Kubina or Leopold for a bit less.
