Gonchar to Sens

3 yr, 5.5 per from TSN

Good deal for them, makes their powerplay quite lethal.

That's the price for one of the best QBs in hockey today.....

I would be happy as a sens fan cause they needed this type of player and they also need to change the core group a bit.

Spezza trade would be the nextr best thing.

Good job Ottawa

Big time signing for Ottawa. It may not look good in the last year but for the 1st two it will be great. This guy plus Karlsson = awesome.

2 other things that are completely off topic.

Why do these boards go down in VERY important days, the draft and now today...Can maintenance not be done the day before to make sure that you're ready for the big days?

Pierre McGuire looks really weird from a side profile, I think he's got a mean set of man boobies.

Very risky contract signing a 36 year old for 3 years.

At least, Hamrlik's contract will be coming to an end after next season, when he's still only 36. Gonchar will be approaching 39 before the 5.5 cap hit falls off the Ottawa payroll...
