Nice! Can't wait.

Out of the blue question, is Ben Sexton related to Dan Sexton (on Anaheim)?

That is a stacked lineup--both defense and offense.

DC should be amazing this year. I'll be there on Saturday, but hopefully others can fill us all in during the week--Ideally with video.

Doesn't appear so. Ben Sexton is Randy Sexton's (FLA GM) son.

He looked good against Denver and UNH last spring; skating's a bit rough (first step- straight-line speed is OK), but he's a big guy who goes hard to the net. At 22, he's older and stronger than a lot of guys he goes up against...but not a bad invite. I thought he showed some moxie and opportunistic scoring for R.I.T.

I've got a blog post up about the roster for those who want to know a little more, specifically about Fallstrom, Cantin, Brenner and Randell

Cantin's a pretty good non-draftee invite, he's nothing spectacular but he's got pretty good size, is very steady defensively and has a bit of toughness.

From Matt Kalman's Bruins blog:

It should be noted that Max Sauve is listed as injured. He will attend but not participate. And Zane Gothberg’s attendance has not been confirmed yet.

I'll be getting some footage!
I'm interested in Nick Tremblay- does anyone know anything about him?
His stat spread on the Bruins site says he had 110 points in 57 games. Picked up in 6th round. Does anyone know where he's currently playing?

We need to work on getting one or two more solid D prospects. As many have said, our depth there is not so hot. We are rich with good forward prospects. Would like to see us re-balance so the D is not so thin.

That being said, I get weary watching guys like Lashoff develop at a snails pace for 2 years only to get shipped out, so maybe Chiarelli is not into building D from the draft.

Other than the solid stock of prospects attending, the most refreshing part of this thread is the ommission of the name Soderberg.......oooops, I mentioned him.

Should be one fun camp for those lucky enough to get to see some of the B`s potential future.

From a statistical standpoint, it's less risky to draft forwards in the early rounds than defenseman or, especially, goalies.
