Easton Synergy ST '09 vs. CCM Vector U+

I'm getting one or the other, of those who have used them what are your opinions? If I get the Easton it will be a Zetterberg/Forsberg curve and if I get the CCM it'll be a Thornton.

st for durability, u+ will be lighter though but it doesn't last very long. if the u+ is the cl version, that's one of the lightest stick out there.

The Vector U+ is the only stick that has ever been broken in my shop by someone testing the flex. A 90lbs kid snapped an intermediate flex, built for someone 130-160lbs, with ease.
I have used ST models for the last 5 years, and they have treated me VERY well. IMO it is the best bang for your buck unless you can find something on a rediculous discount.

As some have said....U stick blows for durability, I haven't owned one but Ive seen plenty of people that did. Atleast they seem to break in the warranty time so you can get a shiny new one if you continually break them, hah.

Sadly, it's a one time deal. The replacement sticks are engraved with "Warranty Replacement" and are not covered in any way.

I would buy the U+ 10 times out of 10, even if I weren't biased against Easton. Had mine for a little while now (Lecavalier curve) and just love that bad boy, still fighting off the urge to buy another one.

The patterns aren't anything alike, go with the one that's the closest to the pattern you normally use.

Thing is, I've used a Forsberg/Zetterberg in the past and liked it, and I currently use a Thornton and like it. Right now I'm leaning towards the Synergy.
