Habs and Blues make poor trading partners now. The Blues need offence and so do the Habs. It makes no sense.

At this point, I would like AK to stay with Montreal now that his brother is gone. But I could see both teams swapping Perron/AK at some point. I feel St.Louis would get the best player in that trade. AK has all the tools. He just lack creativity and/or confidence.

Pretty sure David Perron would not be standing in the way of the Blues getting in on Kovalchuk. Their internal cap is what is standing in the way of the Blues getting in on Kovalchuk

Perron isn't what Montreal needs right now. I'd rather just keep Pouliot and Andrei Kostitsyn.

Some of his stuff is ridiculous, but Eklund has actually been right a bit in the past couple of days.

I would be on cloud 9, if somehow MTL managed to get Perron for AKost. and/or Pouliot.
Doubtful though....

Well considering Perron, Giroux, Toews, Doughty and Keith are my five favourite non-habs... I'm all for this. At the right price though. Oh, and too bad it's eklund

This makes no sense. The Blues need offense in a bad way and Perron WILL be the Blues top scorer next season, bet on it. If the Blues are seriously considering going after Kovalchuk and need to move salary, Perron will be one of the last they consider trading.

Perron for Andrei Kostitsyn.

Fair trade, St. Louis gets the bigger and better scorer. Habs get the Francophone and smaller top 6 to go with our other 5'11" smaller top six in Plekanec, Gionta, Cammarelli and Gomez.

lol Blues do not want AK and especially not for Perron.

Blues need a LW, they're not dealing one away.

No he hasn't. He was right twice, 2 weeks ago. He has been 0/50 since then.

If the Habs wanted Perron, they would have figured something out when they traded Halak to the Blues.Ain't gonna happen now

We haven't even resigned the guy yet, not to mention he's yet to break out so his trade value is crap compared to what it could be.

I can't think of any scenario that would make us better and not bring in way more salary which seems like the last thing our front office is willing to do until the investment group finds their replacement.

Had you said 3% you'd be more accurate. Bear in mind randomly thowing darts at a dart board gives you a 5% chance.

Andrei K shoots left and can play both wings.

Your over valuing a small forward in what you think your going to get when both of these players are very similar in stats.

Perron needs to be signed too, that makes him a little harder to trade because he maybe demanding more than teams want to pay for that age and calibre of player.

Posting things after they have been confirmed by TSN already doesn't make you right.

Yeah, he basically throws everything outlandish idea at the wall and sees if anything sticks, which it almost never does.
