Got new RBK 4k Skates but the bone outside my ankle is hurting bad...help

Hi!
I finally decided to get something more comfortable than my super entry level Bauer one05 or the Easton S3.
Well, I tried the 4Ks at the store (originally wanted the 6k) and liked them so much that I bought them BUT first time skating I started to get a bad pain on the outside bone thingy on my ankle.
It was baked once so I took them back to the store and they baked them again and I am yet to try them but even walking on the store I still felt some pressure but since the area was tender I was not sure if it was just that.
So, is this something I should be able to tough out and it will go away?
It is surprising cause there is a LOT of padding and it feels nice to my fingers so I am not sure how that can really hurt me.

I've had a pair of 4K's for about a year now and I've never had any problems.

Yes I understand I didn't help you

but isnt that gonna damage the pump/bladder thingy? I was just touching the padding and honestly I just cant conceive how something that soft is hurting me but I do know the other skates were never in contact with that bone thingy so maybe I just had girlie ankles lol
Other than that the skates felt awesome compared to my other ones. Lighter, much more stable, I want them to work cause I like them
It does take time to adapt to new skates eh...at least for me, feels like you need to do tons of small adjusments and wait for your brain to replace the old "instinct" things it was doing to adapt to the new skates.

Do you really need the Pump to get it to fit right?

If it's deflated and done carefully it should be ok. One of the reasons I'm not a fan of the pump is that if you need it to fit it's just a matter of time before it konks out on you and you're screwed.

Honestly , I dont think I really NEED to since as you can imagine, right now they are very tight already and the last baked we made sure to wrap around the ankle area a lot.
I do like the "lock" feeling it gives on the back of my ankle when I use the pump but I can live without it if I have too as long as I dont have pain. :-)
