Technically, he is still under contract until June 30, after that maybe we will still own his rights if they gave him a qualifying offer or not.

I see Fischer scored his first goal yesterday against Univ. of Alaska Anchorage. Not quite newsworthy I guess, but it was his first of the season.

Figures, one of the few games I haven't seen this year. Perhaps they will replay it, will have to look for it. Either way he's having a disappointing season stats wise.

Watched some of the 2nd game of Kristo this weekend, Cichy didn't play in either game, DU just took it to them, now they are in trouble of even making the Frozen Fours, will need to get some wins and quick.

Haven't gotten around to it yet but I got one of Pateryn's games from this weekend, not sure which one I taped.

Also tonight is the start of the 2010 Bean Pot tournament, so go Havard, going to be a tough one against BC. Game starts at 5 pm est. I'll be at work but hopefully someone will catch it and post how Leblanc does.

too bad sportsnet is not showing the game here in canada will try to find a stream but so far nothing (if i find one i post it later on the board)

edit : Harvard captain had a great quote last week "One is any team can win the Beanpot in any given year. Two is that [head coach Ted] Donato probably has more hair than we have fans.

Maxim Trunev is no longer on Severstal's active roster: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=106580

Anyone know anything about what happened there?

Wasn't he kicking butt in the faceoff circle before? Maybe that injury is affecting his faceoff ability.

I don't think so, all season long there was games where he is good/okay and other games where he didn't had it at all.

Maybe he's just another 1st round super success courtesy of Timmins and Co. Yeah, that's it.

Yes, that's exactly what losing a few faceoffs mean.

CKAC: Louis Leblanc article

he basically said that Leblanc has a big decision for this summer, he has not closed the doors for the Q but dont want to go to chicoutimi because of their head coach who's a hot head

the artcile also say he would like to continue his school in english and they said montreal juniors would have interesed in him with concordia/McGill

btw, if i had to bet i would say he would be back in Harvard next year and this article his just the media to try to stir up ****

edit: shame on the ckac idiot who couldnt even find a picture of Leblanc

Leblanc feeding Avtsin in Montreal next year? Hell, if something like that happened, I'd put my differences with Verdun aside and catch some games.

That would be absolutely awesome. And if we draft Dvurchensky (sp?) this summer, avtsin and him and come over together. That would be ideal.

Was this from a recent interview? Too bad, I guess being captain (thus a key player) and making the big bucks (I assume, not sure how much) removes any incentives of coming over.

What's the situation with Valentenko ? Is he signs for next year too ? he plays an average of 6.13 Mi per games. He's now at 220 lbs!! We could use a physical force like him in the line up.
