[SWE] Bob Nyström

What's the story on Nyström? I've never understood if he is considered swedish or what? I know his son, Eric Nystrom, that was drafted last year (I think) is an american/candian. Sometimes he is included among swedes in the NHL, sometimes not.

I could be way off here, but I believe he was born in Sweden, but moved to Canada early, at about 4 or 5 years of age. He was invited to play for Sweden in the first Canada Cup 1976, but declined. End of story.

By the same definition that makes Tomas Sandström, Juha Widing and Mika Hannula swedish players, Bob Nyström should be considered american.

I know Sandström is born in Finland, but I didn't know Hannula was?

Hannula was born in Åbo (Turku) and is actually even more of a finnish hockey player than Sandström since Hannula started playing hockey in a finnish club, TPS..
