Sharp and Campbell being shopped?

From LeBrun twitter:

"My ESPNChicago colleague Jesse Rogers believes Patrick Sharp could be in play as well now and he's much more easily moveable... We'll see"

"With Hawks deciding to match Hjalmarsson offer, source said today Brian Campbell being shopped. Have hard time seeing that contract moved"

For Chicago to get anything of value, they're pretty much going to have to give away Sharp with Campbell... Even then, they might not be able to get much, because thats still like 11.5 mil between the two players.

Sharp is a surprise.

It is obvious, even to the biggest idiots on here, that Campbell is being shopped with the atrocious contract.

Hawks fans are mad at Tallon for signing Campbell and Huet, why are they mad at Bowman for signing Hossa when he knew Toews and Kane and Keith were due for raises? Just as much Bowmans fault as Tallons.

Kaberle for Campbell straight up.

Allows Chicago to retain Sharp and Hjarlmesson.

Toronto gets a top pairing D under contract.

I can see Sharp being traded but Campbell salary is too much for almost every team.

Sharp and Campbell together would be a decent package.

As a Leaf fan, I'd offer something like Kaberle, Grabovksi and a prospect.

Despite signing Lebda and hopefully Phaneuf returning to form and Gunnarsson progressing, no one on the Leafs blueline brings the kind of offensive skill that Campbell does.

Kaberle, Finger and Reimer.

Hossa is a better player than either Huet or Campbell, and was signed to a deal with a ridiculously friendly cap hit. I don't see how you can compare his contract with either of the two albatross contracts.

Not even ten posts in and already infested with Leaf proposal idiocy.

God I hope the Hawks aren't the center of attention next offseason. Two years is enough.

The Sharp part is pure conjecture on the part of one reporter with a less than stellar reputation.

And then Campbell says "TOR is not one of my 8 teams, nice try".

Problem isn't the cap hit, it's the term

Chicago had Atlanta 1st in 2010 entry draft, not in 2011.

No, even then... HELL NO! I don`t want that atrocious contract anywhere near this team.

Also, to the guy who proposed Campbell for Kaberle.

EDIT: BTW, why don`t they trade Bolland instead of Sharp?

First one is speculation. Hawks don't have to move Sharp to keep Hammer, and doubt they would move him to keep Niemi. Besides hammer just signed...

Second I hope is a true rumor, I hope they are trying to move Campbell. Tell any team you can have him and your choice of one top 10 and one non-top ten prospect and give back a bag of pucks. Only way i think.

Is trading Campbell this offseason even plausible? I mean the length on that contract is a pain.
