Dubinsky is so skilled and has the potential to be a PPG player if he could be more consistent. When he is on his game he is almost always the best player on the ice. I remember a few months ago, a poster here compared him to a chameleon. It seems he learned a little from Zherdev in the stickhandling department, and he protects the puck eerily similar to Jagr against the boards. Now just play him with Callahan so he will learn to give 100% every game.
awesome video. showcases everything dubi can bring to this team.

I really hope we keep the kid past the end of this season.
completely agreed. i've mentioned before it wouldn't surprise me to see him included in a trade because he challenged glen, but i think you have to hold on to him. he's like a five tool player in baseball. he can do a bit of everything. he still hasn't put it all together though. he'll almost play different styles on a game by game basis. on night he looks like mike richards crashing and banging down low, getting gritty in front of the net, making the smart passes and crushing people on the forecheck. the next night he looks like he's trying to be jason spezza and dangle through everybody making the flashy plays. i hope this is the year he puts everything together and identifies "his" game in hopes of finding some consistency. he has so many abilities, plays with a lot of heart and is one of the few willing to go to bat for his teammates. lock him up.
Sick video. Hopefully Dubinsky continues to improve his offensive game to reach his potential. He is probably gonna be a 30G, 30A player pretty soon. Gotta love the grit and determination. Watching this video makes you realize that he has scored some pretty big goals for the Rangers.
My all time favorite Dubinsky play is probably when he turned schultz inside out in the quarterfinals.
Dubi leaves it on the ice every night. He may be inconsistent, but it sure as hell isn't due to lack of effort. When he matures a wee bit more, I think we'll finally see him turn into a solid 50-60 point player. Who knows, maybe he'll even push 70 once or twice in his prime (if this team can ever assemble a good offensive system).
I wonder if Schultz picked up his jock strap after that play at the end.
Pretty embarrassing for him, lol.
Dubi hates Sid, so I like Dubi, simple as that. Although I think I would like him even if it weren't as simple as that. I also like his fights with Richards. It's like he's going to fight you until he kicks your ass. His record might be 1-10 when it happens, but at the end of the day you can't say he didn't kick your ass.
