Buying single game tickets - any advice?

Hey, I used to post on here regularly back when my friend Andrew first cracked into the NHL, but haven't been around much since he was waived.

I'm looking into heading down to California in March to catch the Canucks/Ducks, as well as Canucks/Kings with a few friends. Do Ducks tickets sell out, typically? Where are the best bang/buck areas to sit? We'd probably be looking for lower bowl seats if possible... how much do they go for?

Also, if they don't sell out, is it easy to pick up tickets at or below face value from scalpers, the night of the game?

Thanks all. Thanks a bunch.

Go across the street to JT Schmidts and scalp. Seriously. I usually get lower bowl tickets cheaper then face value. At worst, for face value. Only twice have I ever been shut out for tickets in 75+ attempts.

This place? http://jtschmidsrestaurants.com/

They scalp out of a restaurant? A lot of Kings fans are pointing me to Stubhub for the cheapest source for tickets at Staples.

There are alot of Canucks fans that seem to live out here, but they don't usually sell out. I would try the usual, Craigslist, stubhub, e-bay. E-Bay works the best for me for Kings games, I got two tix three rows off the glass for thirty a piece from there. Got to see Bobby score his hat trick up close and personal.
