I'll honestly never forget that moment. I was already standing, and when that happened I proceeded to do about 35 fist pumps, continously screamed "holy **** yes!!!," took off my shirt and whipped it on the ground, and then dropped to my knees in hapiness.
Yes, the Habs can get some pretty unique/weird/crazy reactions out of me.
I watched this with 6 other Hab fans at my parents house, we did a group victory hug and fell onto the floor, then we did a victory lap around our street. Thx for posting, great moment, forgot about that.
I was at game 6 and I jizzed my pants that game. When I saw that Dominic Moore goal, I won't lie, I was in tears. It's the first time that I've actually held my head up high because of the habs. No one gave us a chance to win and we did it. I was in tears when we beat the pens in 7 too.
Watching the NHLVideo highlights of all 7 games right now.
Man was Game 1 ever badass! Cammy goes roof, sick play from Poul-Gomez-Gio and Pleks' cheeky lil' clapper in OT. So sick!
Game 2 is the biggest rage. AKost hatty. Blow the 4-1 lead, Caps go into take-off-your-own-net mode. Unreal give and go Pleks to Cammy to Pleks to get the 5-4 lead with 5:00 left, blow that lead. I will give it to Backstrom on the OT winner, that was pure snipe.
Game 3! SO! MANY! CHANCES! .. And then... implosion Never in my life have I seen such a good 1st followed by such terrible 2nd and 3rd
Game 4 was rough. Not the most entertaining or memorable of the series. Gionta big 2-1 goal. Knuble scores with 6 seconds left in the 2nd. 6-3 loss with two empty netters. Not as bad a loss as it looked.
Markov goes to work in Game 5. Beautiful apple to Cammy and then gets robbed by the post... Moen has a excellent game with Gomez and Gio.. 2-1 nailbitter, I still wasn't convinced we could do it.
Game 6 Subban Cammalleri Halak Pyatt Lapierre Moore That is all! Ole Ole OleOleOle! I knew it was for real now!
I was half drunk on vent with friends(yea i know lame), and I was watching it on TV. Half of them were watching it on a live stream, so they were a couple of seconds behind. Needless to say they were pretty pissed when I yelled my lungs out, thus "spoiling" the goal.
I also cried some manly tears of joy when I realized we had actually won the game.
One of the greatest sport related moment of my life.
