The one part I agree with is that even though he left now, he could easily come back for a press conference. I don't actually ever remember a free agent signing being announced and a press conference that exact same day. They usually announce it, then a few days later fly the guy in. Like Gonchar this year, his press conference was a week later in Ottawa.
