If you're expecting Spencer to use official police procedures, for anything other than a short-term plot device, it's debatable how much you "get it". A big part of the character is that he doesn't follow official procedures and does what he wants, even when it's dumb/dangerous/dangerous-to-the-case.
Given that Spencer has already botched two cases due to not using official police procedures or actually learning from them and then got his father fired for them and no, they weren't short term plot devices as they had TWO episodes dedicated them, it's annoying as hell they just seem to ignore this as it makes the character stagnant.

Anyone else catch the title of the last episode? I didn't until I went to delete it, and got yet another laugh out of that episode... This Episode Sucks.

This show has never been better. Nearly died with Tapman threw the sand into The Catch's. Not only then, but the whole part with Gus' shirt. Lost it when he drew on it, put the stain remover on it, and gave it to him when he shrunk the hell out of it.
I love this series.. I find it hilarious because the stupidity that shawn says and does reminds me of a kid i was friends with in high school. Good times
