BLEH!

What travesty has befallen our mighty Predators, Hartnell and the 15th for Ladd? May the doer of this blasphemy come forth!

Who signed up for the Nashville GM again? SNA? Smokey?

Oh .. boy .. I just don't know

I used that logic but aimed at Havlat instead ..

Hartnell for the 6th is rough .. but with the Predator's first? Ouch.

Yeah, I saw that. It appears most of these trades were made in jest....either that.....or people really rank prospects WAY too much.

SNA your forgiven

Well, this is Hockey's Future. People here are very prospect oriented. This is likely the best website/message board for the widest range of prospects. Some sites have better coverage of the Dub or what not, but few offer the selection that this place does. Unfortunately, a lot of these fans deal with prospects. They feel that players like Pitkanen are worth more than superstars because of the tools Pitkanen has and what he's projected to become. If Player X [Young Player] is projected to be better than Player Y [Older Player] currently is, Player X is better than in a lot of people's minds. It's just the way some fans think. I tend to lean towards this: "I don't care how good you are supposed to be, how good are you now?"

Edit: And if I had been in SNA's shoes, I would have traded Sullivan, Legwand, Vokoun, Walker, Hartnell, Erat, Hall, Hamhuis, Suter, Klein, Weber, and my first for the next 50 drafts in order to draft Ovechkin. Cause in these drafts it doesn't matter what happens, as long as you draft first
