ownership of HC LEV has changed. HC LEV Hradec Kralové s.r.o. was replaced by HOCKEY CLUB LEV PRAHA, a.s. as "spoločník" (english: I dont know legal term for it, it is something like owner)
That means that people from CKD are officialy in ownership (boards) of club.
What's written on those pages? I can't understand a word
it is official register of body corporations in Slovakia and Czech rep. There is written info I posted earlier. People from CKD Group are in boards of HC LEV.
I see 2 scenarios, 1.CKD wanted to control/decide about money + have vote in KHL board of owners (does it exist? I can not find anything in rules) 2.club wants to move to Czech rep. If club want to move, they have to get approval of czech federation. As club said today, they dont do it, dont want to move. Argument for moving is training arena - it should be built until summer, but complications have appeared (who knows who made mistaky - club or city) - problem is with place where it should be built. City wants to built it in one suburb but people dont want it (wants space for threes, parks etc).
Well, if Lev want so badly to move to Czech rep., then... this project was colossal failure for city of Poprad. I hope Lev won't do it, at least not in the following 4-5 years.

I disagree and dont really mind that it moves.
The project was initially meant to be in the Czech rep, until they got denied. I think LEV was made anyways just to create a club but that the location was more arbitrary.
My guess is that they made LEV in Poprad to prove to the Czech hockey federation that they can run a successful KHL club. Which they have done.
I would like to understand why some Slovaks think that change in ownership means ipso facto moving. HC LEV Poprad sro was owned by czech company X (HC LEV Hradec Kralove sro), today is owned by company Y. Does it mean moving? No, it does not.
You should read fans opinions at slovak forums (club´s as well), so many well informed fans who know about moving etc. just LOL
I admit that moving can happen, but I am not so sure now. There is so many reasons against:
1.approval of czech federation - Missing
2.KHL approval of new arena - Missing
3.new deals with municipality - Missing

Only the first one matters. KHL in order to get a team in Prague or Bratislava would allow them in first seasons to play on a pond if necessary.
1) I don't think the reason for changing the ownerhip form is moving away from Poprad. More likely it's what vorky said above.
2) Despite of 1), I think the relocation of the club is likely to happen sooner or later. It could be Prague or Bratislava, but I don't think they're playnning to stay in Poprad more than 2 seasons. If they did, some teams from bigger cities could get into the KHL and then they wouldn't have chance to survive, because Poprad itself is too small imo. Now they are simply profiting from being the only KHL team in central Europe.

yes, getting approval from KHL is not a problem. Especially if arenas in Czech rep are better than Poprad´s one. On other hand, I can not see any steps of KHL (no statement about inspections in czech rep near future like we can see in Saraganda).
HC LEV has deals with city of Poprad, they should cancel them and negotiate with Prague or other city if they want to move next summer. One more time, I can not see any steps + club claims they wont do such steps next months. Can you imagine this crap PR? Club claims they wont move this summerin january and finally move in august? I dont believe they have no idea what will happen in summer. If they know, they will move - why the hell they claims they wont it? Is not better to say nothing about this topic? maybe my idea about PR stuff is wrong...
The biggest problem is approval of czech federation (CSLH). I can not imagine they will give it. Do you know that czech elite clubs (extraliga) want to create league with no relegation/promotion? So, there is fight among CSLH (+ Chomutov and other 2nd tier but wealthy clubs) and these clubs.... no space for dealing with HC LEV.

I agree that HC LEV wont play in Poprad forever. Just dont believe they move next summer, reasons are above.

I guess you mean Karaganda? I guess you merged the name of the city with the name of the team they have . Sary-Arka + Karaganda.
I read that, if accepted in KHL, they'll probably change their name. Could they go with one of their former names? Avtomobilist, Bulat, Stroitel? Or maybe Kazakhmys?

yep, my fault.

who knows? Do you have more info about history of club? why and when change name etc. What is Kazakhmys? Some company or so? Karaganda´s junior team in MHL B is called Kazakhmys.

yes, Ust-Kamenogorsk is more famous. Who know if they have money.. what about arenas?
btw will Donbass Donetsk build new arena if joins KHL (13/14)?
Torpedo is sponsored by Kazzinc and they don't have enough dough to support a KHL team and to build the arena necessary to join. Far cry from the times they had one of the best facilities in Soviet Union which produced ridiculous amount of top players.
